Mount Olympus
Although Lord Zeus watched the scene unfold in the Human Realm with seemingly no outwardly reaction, Lady Hera and Lord Poseidon can feel the dread that Lord Zeus excludes in small waves. While the other Gods grumble and groan about the development, there is no indication that there will be action from them anytime soon.
"It seems that Lord Hades can speak prophecies nowadays." The remark is made casually, the intent behind the words is anything but. Glancing to the side brings a frustrated looking Hermes in Lord Poseidon's line of view. "We all know he is a paranoid son of a bitch but this is just ridiculous."
"And who's fault is it that this all started?" Lord Poseidon turned his heavy gaze on a now embarrassed Hermes before it is erased. "Don't go acting all innocent now cousin, we all know you have a hand in whatever started this mess." Poseidon moved his gaze to his younger brother, still lounging on his golden throne. "I am surprised that he hasn't punished you more harshly for what you have done."
Hermes skittered away as Lord Zeus turned his gaze on them, probably terrified that he will be punished more severely. An arched eyebrow and a slight shrug is the answer to the unveiled challenging words. "You are usually lightning quick to deal out suitable, bordering on crude punishment." Still, no reaction as Lord Zeus is more interested in the fight now occurring between Hercules and the humanoid creatures. "What has changed brother?"
A listless shrug is the only answer Lord Poseidon receives to his query. Unlike Lord Zeus, Poseidon can't rest on his laurels. A lot of things have been going on under the surface. Water spirits and creatures demanding that something HAS TO BE DONE NOW about the decades of pollution. Not being able to ignore their pleads and threats any longer, Lord Poseidon leaves Lord Zeus lounging in his throne, more concerned about his own problems.
Human realm: Western Woods
Panting, Hercules is now crouching, hiding behind a crumbling wall of an Ivy overgrown building near to the cloister of buildings that seem to be the HQ of this outlandish situation. Not only are there a lot of guards dotted around the crumbling buildings, but there is also strange energy coming from that direction. It is heavy, dank and makes the small hair on the back of his neck rise in cold sweat. If anything, Hercules could swear it was as if Lord Hades was residing in one of those buildings. That would be the only sane way of explaining the dread that he was feeling.
The bad thing was that the dread surrounding the stretch of buildings was so crushing that it stonewalled any attempt of Hercules to find any trace of Akira in the area through the Pack Bond. Hercules was good, but he wasn't good enough to take on all the visible guards plus the ones inside the walls without some serious backup. Preferably the kind that is on his side and demolishes most of the guards without too many losses. For he expected the place to be crawling with them behind the thick stone wall.
Where is that damned Wolfman when you need him?
You called?
The words growled slightly as they reverberate throughout his whole being. If he wasn't so high strung before, he was certainly now. Poised crouched a few feet behind him stood Gabe's furry bulk, teeth bared. Swinging around so he'd be facing Gabe fully, Hercules flung his arms around Gabe's furry neck, face pressed against the fur. A soft clink had Hercules leaning back to see what made the noise, and only then did he see that Gabe was actually wearing some sort of armour. "Where did the armour come from?" The gleaming material was wrapped around Gabe's neck, running down his chest and back, coming together at his sides, like normal armour. Upon closer inspection, the armour seemingly continued across his armpit without pause, protecting the soft skin from being pierced, unlike most armour that does not protect it.
