"Get us some more instant coffee will ya?" Hikaru and Kaoru ordered

We were back in school and the customers were sqealing at the boys as usual.

"Why do I have to do it?" I asked

"Because it's your job and we don't even know where to buy it." Kaoru said innocently

I rolled my eyes. Damn rich people.

I walked down the aisles of the supermarket looking for instant coffee until I stopped walking.

Evan was standing at a row of soups ,so I tip toed to him.

"HEY EVAN!" I yelled in his ear

He swerved around looking alarmed and he relaxed when he saw it was me.

I laughed hard and he rolled his eyes.

"Not funny," he said

"Extremely funny and you know it." I said

He cracked a smile.

"Ha! See? It is funny." I laughed pointing at him.

"Whatever," he said shoving my hand away "So what are you doing here? I thought you had to be at the host club or whatever it is."

"As a slave it is my duty to buy instant coffee for the masters," I rolled my eyes

He snickered.

"Wanna hang out?" he suddenly said.

"Sure!" I said with no hesitation.

I texted Haruhi and told her to cover for me because i'm hanging out with Evan.

We arrived at the hill that we always went to as kids.

It had a beautiful view: You can see the sunset clearly and there's a glimmering lake below and the grass was a beautiful green with a few flowers here and there.

I always felt like a queen when i'm up here.

"I haven't been here in years," I said staring at the sunset.

He didn't say anything.

I looked over at him and he was frowning at the lake.

"What?" I asked confused.

"Look at that duck," he said pointing.

There was a duck swirling around crazily and other ducks were swimming away from the crazy duck as fast as they can.

I stared and I collapsed on the ground laughing and he laughed too.

He sat down with me cross-legged.

I looked at Evan but he was staring deep into my eyes.

"What?"

He turned away and shook his head.

I looked at him suspiciously. I won't take that for an answer.

"Seriously what's wrong?" I asked again

He clenched his teeth knowing that I wasn't going to give up and then sighed.

"Do you like me, Kaede?" he asked quietly.

My eyes widened.

The truth is, I actually did like Evan. The way he laughed and smiled.

"Yes," I whispered.

He slowly leaned in little by little and our lips made contact.

He gently held my face weaving his fingers a little in my hair.
