Chapter 4

Me and Kaoru walked into the awesome arcade and he smirked.

We played what felt like hours.

I played the crane game because I saw this cute green stuffed monster with large black shiney eyes and it was round.

I pouted as I failed to get it. Kaoru looked like he was going to burst out laughing any second, but he took over the crane. He lowered it on the monster and the crane gripped the animal.

I grinned when he dropped it in the whole.

"You are so effin awesome," I smiled as I sniffed it

Kaoru stared at me with his mouth open.

"I's a horrible habit," I muttered

Then we both laughed and left the arcade.

Haruhi's POV

Everyone else left but I stayed examining them.

This was more interesting than I thought. Then I heard a rumble and looked up at the sky. It was getting dark and cloudy.

Kaede's POV

I heard a rumble and I looked up at the sky. Dark clouds were forming. I thought about Haruhi and got worried. A raindrop landed on my shoulder.

"Ok! Time to go home! Hehe..." I said nervously. I hope that Haruhi was home.

Kaoru frowned at me but dismissed it.

"Sure. We can call a cab," He said pulling out his cell phone.

"Kaede?" someone called behind me.

Kaoru's eyes widened.

I turned to see Evan coming out of a shop.

"Hey Evan!" I smiled nicely.

A few more raindrops started to land on my shoulder.

"It looks like it's gonna pour," he said looking up at the sky

"Want me to drive you home?" he asked

"Sorry but we plan on taking a ta--" Kaoru began

I cut him off.

"Please do!" I said

Kaoru scowled and glared at me. I looked at him confused.

"What's wrong?" I asked frowning

"Nothing at all!" He yelled and then he ran away.

I gasped.

"Sorry Evan but I gotta catch him. See you later!" I said while running after Kaoru.

It was pouring and I ended up in front of the bed and breakfast.

I walked in and everyone looked worried.

Lightning struck and I looked around. No Haruhi.

I growled.

Kaoru came downstairs and scowled at me.

I wanted to rip him apart but I had no time.

"Where's Haruhi?" I asked anxiously

"She's still out there...Is everything ok?"

I ran to my room and got a bag and stuffed a blanket my music and headphones.

I glared at Kaoru as I pushed open the door into the rain.

I searched the whole neighborhood and I haven't found her.

I stopped in front of a church. I stared wide eyed at the puddle that trailed inside.

I walked in.

"Haruhi?" I called.

I heard a whimper as I heard a crackle of thunder.

Haruhi was shaking and had her eyes shut and her ears covered. She was crouching under a table.

She opened her eyes and looked desperately at me.

I opened my bag and threw the blanket at her and I gave her my Ipod.

She gratefully took them.

She suddenly stared wide eyed behind me.

I turned to see a dripping wet Kaoru and I cursed.

"What the hell are you doing here?" I glared at him.

"Look I'm sorry for leaving you in the rain." He apologized.

I rolled my eyes.

"Just help me get her back to the bed and breakfast." I ordered

"W-w-what??" She whispered

I put the Ipod on full blast and told her to close her eyes.

Kaoru carried her all the way to the bed and breakfast.

Everyone was shocked to see Haruhi in a banket and she looked calm now but she was shaking a little.

I walked her to her room.

When I got back downstairs everyone looked at me waiting for answers.

"Listen, Haruhi is extremely terrified of lightning ok? That's why I wanted to hurry home as fast as I can." I said glancing at Kaoru.

Tamaki gasped and he started running to the stairs.

I stuck my leg out and tripped him and I tried hard not to laugh as he crashed to the floor.

"She needs her rest," I said

"I have to see my daughter!!!!" He shouted

I rolled my eyes

"Tommorrow."

I dragged myself to my room and fell on my bed. I was so exhausted.

And suddenly the door opened. I groaned as I saw it was Kaoru.

"Ever heard of knocking?" I asked

He smirked and sat next to me resting his chin on his knees.

"Thanks for helping me get Haruhi home." I said

"No problem," He smiled "And i'm sorry for acting like a douche."

I put my foot in his face.

"GAH!!!!" he yelled and he fell back on the bed.

I climbed on top of him and pushed my foot to his face.

"IT BURNS!!!" he shouted

Suddenly the door opened and Tamaki, Hikaru, Kyoya, Mori, And Honey looked at us wierdly.

"Whoa what have we here?" Hikaru smirked

I knocked Kaoru off the bed.

"ITS NOT WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE!!!" I said grabbing Hikaru's shoulders.

"Sure..." He said sarcastically.
