The Result of The Vow

It had been a few months since The Vow had been made between Morgana Pendragon, who had yes found out by now her true heritage but with the help of Merlin she was able to calm down, and the prophesied Emrys. And the stories that you know so well happened a bit quicker. With Morgana's magical training going so very well saving Arthur's life, when Morgana was around, was made a lot easier. Also now knowing that she was a seer helped too.

You might ask what happened with Morgause? Well she Morgana used the bracelet that helped her nightmares for a while. But she stopped when she realized that it was causing her to have dangerously negative feelings towards Uther and his son. She no longer considers trusting Morgause, and that was when they discovered her abilities as a seer(though this event did only happen a few weeks ago).

Then of course the question about how she discovered Uther deepest darkest secret, even more than how Ygraine died, Morgana's true heritage. Well Morgause was mad when she sensed that her enchanted bracelet was no longer effecting her half-sister so she decided to try a different method. She cast a spell to find out the biggest secret that Uther has kept from Morgana and she was in for the surprise of her life.

She obviously thought this was perfect after all she did not know Morgana would die if she ever betrayed the Pendragon bloodline. So she cast a spell to create a fake journal of Uther Pendragon and it basically played out like this.

Morgana was feeling quite a bit better she was finally free of the awful thoughts that cursed bracelet. She was in Uther's room waiting, because for some reason he had summoned her, when it happened.

She tripped right around the bookshelf when she had gotten up from her chair. She knocked down a book that fell open to a page.

Feeling bored she took the book to her chair and started to read the page it had fallen open on, because why not. She only realized that it was a journal after a few sentences but it much to late now, she was to intrigued. Here is what the cursed book with that cursed page said.

I must say I am in a stage of deep regret right now. Ygraine had just recently passed on as I wrote about and this was simply from by grief. I was visiting my old friend Gorlois but he was not there. Only his wife who told me that Gorlois had been summoned to war. I took her in my arms to comfort her and that night we went to far. At the time the feeling glorious I was imagining her as Ygraine as we once again tried to have a child. And I am sure that she was imagining me as Gorlois finally back home and they were celebrating in bed. But that is not how it was what we were thinking changed nothing of reality. Today, one month later, I got a letter from her saying she was pregnant and she knew it was my child. Gorlois got home just a week ago and found his wife six months pregnant and was overjoyed thinking that he was finally going to be a father. What he did not realize and never will realize that the child was the offspring of his king and wife not knowing what they were doing in their grief. She told me for a girl she will name it Morgana and for a boy she will name it Galenin in respect of Gorlois' deceased father.

Morgana was beyond angry after reading that. She walked through the castle with a fast angry pace and a face that told anyone and everyone to get out of her way. Servants and Knights alike jumped out of her way in fear.

She burst open the Physician chamber doors so hard a few bottles tipped over and shattered on the ground, but she was too angry to angry to care. Both Merlin and Gaius looked up in unison and Merlin all of the sudden groaned quite loudly in pain.

"Morgana, why do I feel like you are somehow going against your vow. You also look angry, at Uther to be specific, which is not good for either of us," Merlin said with just a hint of strain in his voice.

Just then Morgana realized the pain being angry at Uther caused her...and ignored it.

Instead of listening to Merlin Morgana walked straight up to where Gaius was sitting studying with Merlin and slammed the journal, still open to the cursed page, right on top of his book.

"Do you know what this is Gaius!," she screamed, suddenly loosing all of the anger she had built up, "please tell me it isn't real," she basically pleaded.

Gaius scanned the page eyes growing wider and wider as he did. Might it be mentioned that since Merlin was sitting right next to him he read it over as well. Once they were both done they looked up at Morgana as if trying to gauge what the next level in her reaction was going to be.

Soon after they started staring at her she quickly raised both of her eyebrows. Directing them to her eyes which spoke the questions what did you know about this? Why didn't you tell me? Also do you want me to hurt you? Causing both men to get kind of scared.

Long story short Gaius confronted Uther. Uther got mad at Gaius. Gaius was somehow able to get Uther to tell him the truth. Morgana got really mad. Merlin somehow magically, while not actually using magic, was able to calm Morgana down before she caused her death by betraying Arthur.

After that it kind of flew smoothly enough. Well until their next adventure. Which happened to cause Merlin to make some tough decisions. It is the adventure of The Lady Of Lake
