(SWR AU Story Number 25) The nightmare of Lothal

Meanwhile back on the ghost...

Sabine woke up first on the ghost, and went to check on Ezra in the med bay of the liberator. When she walked onto the liberator she noticed the med bay door was open. "Oh no" Sabine said. She ran inside and found Ezra was gone. "What has he done!" She yelled. She ran back into the ghost and alerted the crew.

Sabine: EZRA'S GONE!!

After a few seconds everyone woke up and came out of their bedrooms.

Kanan: what!?
Zeb: uh oh.
Hera: what has he done!?
Sabine: i don't know.
Kanan: Hera, set a curse for lothal. We'll find Ezra there.
Hera: how do you know?
Kanan: I bet he's gonna try and take out those inquisitors by himself.
Sabine: we better hurry then!
Hera: Roger.

Everyone sat in the cockpit, and the ghost detached from the liberator and jumped to lightspeed to lothal. On the way the crew were worried about Ezra, but Sabine was fearing the worst for him thinking the inquisitors might of killed him. But all she could do was wait and look for him as fast as she could. A minute passed, 5 minutes passed, 10 minutes passed and each second felt like an eternity. Eventually they came out of hyperspace and Sabine was quick to react.

Sabine: we should split up. He's most likely in the capital
Hera: I agree.
Sabine: Zeb search the roof tops.  Hera you and Kanan take the ground. Chopper, stay here incase he comes back.
Kanan: what about you?
Sabine: I'll be fine, I'll take other areas on the ground.

The ghost lands outside the capital, and the crew runs out while chopper stays behind. They put Sabine's plan in action and went on a look out for Ezra. Zeb looked out from the roof tops, kanan and Hera went off in a different direction to Sabine on the ground. Sabine went off on her own, in hopes that Ezra would door her.

Not too far away in the capital Ezra was stood observing the twin moon rise, and eventually he stops observing.

"Ezra"

He hears his name, and he immediately knows who it was. He turned round and saw Sabine looking at him.

Ezra: Sabine? What are you doing here?
Sabine: looking for you!! What were you thinking!?
Ezra: taking revenge.
Sabine: you could of got yourself killed!
Ezra: I was fine.
Sabine: how would I know that!!
Ezra:....I'm sorry.
Sabine: I could kill you right now, but I'm just glad you're alive. Come on, come back to the ghost.
Ezra:....ok, I'll stop.

Sabine walks up to Ezra and gives him a hug, and Ezra Hugh's her back and let's his anger slip away. But despite this, something turns the heartwarming moment into fear and violence.

This chapter was only short, and it's to build up to the next chapter which will be the final dramatic chapter of this story. That will be out soon 👍
