(SWR AU Story Number 25) The nightmare of Lothal

There are some things far more frightening than death

This is the first chapter I start using game music for the story. I know they are from a different phranchise but this story is heavily gameplay inspired and done music does help to bring life to the chapters. A good idea is to play the music throughout reading the chapters, I did that and it felt really good I must admit. So whenever you see *music starts* this is where I play it whilst reading it through 👍 but anyway, onto the chapter 😁

Ezra, Kanan and Zeb were left in complete shock in what they were about to witness, a piece of dark side sorcery which would terrify the capital. The inquisitors began to bring some red smoke around them, and contained inside it was a very familiar presence which both kanan and Ezra thought was removed from existence. Something which was destined for revenge after his setback over Mustafa.

"no....that's impossible!" Kanan shouted in sheer terror. "I....I thought you killed him!?" Ezra responded with confusion. "I did! What have you done!?" Kanan said, both answering Ezra and Tring to get an answer from the inquisitors. "He at least deserves a new body to House his soul" the 7th sister responded to kanan. "Ezra! Zeb get back!" Kanan warned them. "Foolish jedi" the 5th brother taunted, and at this point the huge pile of metallic junk began to levitate of the ground and started to clump together around the red smoke. Ezra, kanan and Zeb stood in sheer horror watching it.

"I've got a bad feeling about this" Zeb said worryingly. "I'd be worried if you didn't big guy" Ezra responded. Imediatly they noticed the metal scrap started to take a shape of some sort. It seemed to them it had a head, arms and legs almost like a person...almost. it was the shape of a human, bit the size of a starship! As the metal parts clumped together the started to force together, the parts glowed yellow and all the rust fell off as they all forged together creating an u usual figure.

Within moments all the metal parts had been forged together and the huge monster created dropped on its feet creating a huge impact as it landed scaring the three Rebels. It's eyes then glowed Crimson red and stared at them. It looked quite nimble, but housed a huge amount of strength. It stood just under 10 metres in height, and the metal parts had cooled off revealing it's rough formation with a very uneven surface texture.

Kanan, Zeb and Ezra stood in utter horror at this thing as it have them a demonic stare. Kanan looked through the force and the familiar presence wouod become his worse nightmare, the very soal of the grand inquisitor was brought by the inquisitors, from Mustafa, and placed inside to fuel this monster. "Leave no one alive" the 7th sister ordered it. As it looked at the rebels through its crimson red eyes it locked onto them and slammed it's right fist on the ground to scar them. "Our work is done" the 5th brother said and the two inquisitors walked away into the distance and left the 3 rebels to fight off this monster.

"Kanan! This can become a threat to lothal!" Ezra said "I know. We can't let it spread destruction here!" Kanan replied Ezra and Kanan ignited their lightsabers and Zeb took out his Bo-rifle and all three of them stared at the monster. "Let's take this thing down!" Zeb yelled.

- the inspiration behind the metal monster is from a boss from 'super smash Bros brawl' named 'Galleom' who is a mechanical terror, and you'll see that develope later on in the story.
