(SWR AU Story Number 25) The nightmare of Lothal

an uncertain future

*one weeks after Ezra is brought back from his encounters*

Ezra has made a full recovery from his injuries after his vicious duels, and now he was constantly focusing on his training as he knew that in the near future he would encounter the two inquisitors again.

He was with kanan in the ghost practicing his defensive fighting for about 20 minutes and afterwards they went to the meeting area where hera and Sabine were waiting.

Kanan: I'm surprised to see you two here.
Hera: well we need to talk, all of us. I've mentioned it before.
Ezra: she's right.
Kanan: fine, I'll get Zeb and chopper.

They were in the cockpit checking the control console for any issues.

Ezra: how long is this gonna take?
Sabine: not long. Well that's what Hera said.
Hera: it won't take long.

*Door opens*

Zeb: now what?
Chopper: *says to hera they're wasting his time*
Hera: quiet chop. Everyone, sit down.

They all say around the holo-table, and Hera spoke first.

Hera: after our recent encounter with those inquisitors...
*Everyone looks at Ezra*
Ezra: what?
Hera: we need to careful that we don't run into them again, but if we do we need to make plans of action. Otherwise we won't last very long if we get spotted again. So for now, have a think about what we could do for the next few days......you can go now.

*Everyone is surprised about the short length of the talk*

Zeb: wait, that was it? I came over here for something I already know about?
Hera: i was making sure you understood.
Chopper: "saying it was a waste of their time"
Kanan: quiet chop.
Ezra: I'm staying quiet.
Hera: yes you are.
Sabine: from what we've experienced, we have little options.
Hera: then find those options, we need done fast. Now go while I speak to Ezra.
Ezra: uh oh.
Sabine: good luck Ezra.

*Everyone leaves*

Hera: Ezra, if you do anything like that again then you'll never hear of another jedi training lesson again.
Ezra: but Hera!...
Hera: nope! You've heard me. You didn't think twice about what you did.
Ezra: at lest I'm still here.
Hera: you won't be for much longer if you do that again.
Ezra: *gulps*
Hera: now go before I change me mind on how I'm going to talk to you.

*Ezra quickly runs out*

Ezra: angry mom.
Zeb: you said it kid.

From now on the ghost crew will begin to prepare for ant future confrontations with the inquisitors, in hopes they can stand up to them in the future.
