Chapter 7

The morning
Hailees POV
When I open my eyes, light fills the room. I blink slowly,staring at the ceiling, thinking about everything that happened last night. Its 09:15. I look at Theo and he opens one eye. I put my head back on his chest.
Theo:"Good morning love."
Hailee:"Good morning."
I kiss his chest.
Theo:"How are you feeling?"
He sits up to look at me.
Sore.
Hailee:"I feel great... But I don't think I can move."
He kisses my hair and holds me in his arms,gazing down at me with his eyes glowing, warm and loving.

Theo:"You were absolutely great last night. You deserve an A+." He winks.
I smile and blush at the same time, getting up with the covers around me.
I'm suddenly shy as he watches me.
Hailee:"I'm gonna take a shower. Do you want to join me?"
Theo:"Sure baby."
I look at the blood drops on the bed. Proof that I lost my virginity. We took a long relaxing shower... Don't worry, there was no funny business at all.

I've had breakfast and brushed my teeth. I'm wearing a rip jean with a crop top and sneakers. I just love jeans. I comb my hair letting it hang loose over my shoulders.
James draws me closer to him and he smells like heaven. He kisses my cheek.
Theo:"You look pretty."
Hailee:"Thanks my lovely boyfriend."
He Snickers.
Hailee:"Don't you ever get lonely. I mean you live here alone in this house?"
Theo:"Yes I do."
There's a knock on the door and he frowns.
Opening the door he's got a shock look on his face.
Theo:"Mom...Dad."
Christine:"Son aren't you glad to see us?"
Sam:"We just wonder why you don't visit. We haven't seen you in a long time."
He looked glad to see them but why now? I don't want to meet his parents yet??
They  step in and look at me.
Sam:"Oh,this must be your house cleaner."
How insulting.
I gape and Theo's eyes widen.
Sam:"I'm sorry... Is she not??.."
Just go with the flow Theo,say I'm your house cleaner!!!
Theo:"No,Hailees my girlfriend."
Dang it.

Christine:"Sorry Hailee."
Apology accepted.
Theo:"You should've called first. I'm always busy you know that."
They take a seat on the large couch. He holds my hand and I feel the tingles in my stomach.
Theo's POV
Why did they show up here,now unexpected.
Sam:"You never told us you have a girlfriend."
Do you have to know everything?
Sam:"Its nice to meet you Hailee."
Hailee:"You too Mr James. And you Mrs James."
They smile politely.
Ah...they approve of her.
Christine:"She's beautiful Theo. We should all have dinner once together huh?"
Hailee:"That would be nice."
Christine:"It would be at our house."
Of course mother.
Christine:"Next week?"
Sam:"I didn't check my schedule but I'm sure I'm free."
Theo:"Good."
Christine:"Let's go Sam,I still need to get my hair done."
I shake my head at my mother. They get up greeting us goodbye with hugs and kisses. Okay...
Theo:"Send my greetings to Nicole."
Sam:"We will."
They get in the car and drive off.

Hailee:"Who's Nicole?"
Theo:"My younger sister."
She mouthed an O.
Theo:"You'll meet her at dinner."
Hailee:"Your parents are actually nice."
Theo:"Yes they are."

Narrator's POV
Kate was busy doing her laundry. She misses her  daughter.
"You're very busy."
Kate turn around to see her ex husband.
Kate:"Jesus you scared me."
She breathes. He tends to do that a lot.
John:"I miss you."
She seems surprised.
Kate:"Where's Hailee?"
John:"I don't know,probably in her room listening to music. That's what she always does."
Kate thought he was  talking about his place where she has a room.
Kate:"You know you're a good father. But you suck at being a husband."
John:"Do you wanna run that by me again?"
No she doesn't. They had this argument before.
Kate stops with what she's doing and looks at him for a moment.
She receive a text and checks it.
