"Can I open my eyes yet?" Sophie asked impatiently.

"NO!" Keefe shouted quickly.

"Jeez. I've been blind for 10 minutes. I'm gonna open them in two minutes." Sophie started counting out loud, "one, two, three, four, are we there yet? five, six, seven, eight, nine, are we there yet?"

"Usually I'm the impatient one." Keefe laughed. "Okay stop." Sophie stopped dead in her tracks. "Open your eyes, but don't make a noise."

Sophie opened her eyes. "A wedding store?"

"Okay, can you be my girlfriend for like 5 minutes. They have really good cake."

"Really, Keefe. Really? I guess I do like cake. Wait- Biana isn't here right? Cause she would want me to try on dresses and... just no."

"No Biana is not here, grab my hand." Keefe held out his hand for Sophie to take. She gingerly held out her hand, surprised out how sturdy and strong his grip was. It was warm and soft and she smiled. "Those emotions..." Keefe started but Sophie cut him off.

"Not. A. Word."

"Fine, fine. LET US GO EAT CAKE!" Keefe screamed into the world, with Sophie shushing him.

"We are in public. Not at Fitz's house."

He jerked Sophie forward, and she screamed. The door opened, little bells chiming a tune. 

"Welcome to Jolie's Cake Shop. Our special today is free cake testing with your spouse, girlfriend, boyfriend, or fiance, or fiancee. How can I help you?"

Sophie was caught in her own thought, probably thinking about the name Jolie. Keefe, however, was excited to try some cake. "We are here for the free cake testing. But can you wait just one second."

"Sure?" Said the lady at the front, who was confused.

While Sophie was thinking, Keefe got down to tie his shoe. He pulled out a box and got down on one knee. Sophie, startled by the sudden movement, turned around gasped. "Keefe..."

"Sophie. I have loved you for a while, and I don't think I would rather spend my life with any other person. Will you marry me? I mean you were my 'girlfriend' for five minutes. You can be my fiancee instead."

"Yes, Keefe. I will marry you!!" Sophie said ecstatically. "I love you!"

Keefe stood up and whirled her around in his arms. "NOW, let's eat some cake!"

Sophie giggled, "I was the best last minute girlfriend."
