S2 Chapter 1

"AND RYUKA SLAMS HIM DOWN! FAIRYTAIL WINS THEMSELVES 10 POINTS!"

The crowd cheered wildly. Ryuka smiled as he walked over to Jura and helped him up.

The two walked back to their stands from the Arena. "That was a good match, Ryuka."

"Same to you, Jura." Ryuka replied as he said his goodbyes and walked to his stand. The fairytail members cheered at the sight of him.

"Thats our Ryuka!" Makarov laughed and put Ryuka in a headlock and ruffled his hair.

"C-cant Breathe!" Ryuka said and Makarov let him go.

"We're owning the other teams so easily." Natsu said.

"Its all thanks to the 7 of them." He smiled.

Which is quite true, Fairytail went in with one team only. The team that went through the qualifiers was made up of, Natsu, Ryuka, Eri, Jay and Lucy. Even though Rei really wanted to join, her magic was banned in the games.

They got last place though, Ryuka blames it on Natsu wanting to beat everyone and not planning on finding the exit.

Ryuka and Jura match was the first match of the day.

With much ease, Ryuka won over Jura.

"now is the next game of the aqua bubble arena! each team sends out a representative that will fight in a water arena. Last one standing wins! Now lets see which guild sent who?"

"At Mermaid Heels, Beth!

Lamia Scale, Jenny.

Sabertooth, Minvera.

Blue Pegasus, Hibiki.

Quatro Puppies, Bacchus.

and Fairy Tail! Eri!"

The 6 competitors got ready for the match and was now floating around inside the water bubble waiting for the countdown.

Jay was on the roof of the arena, his legs daggling off the edge. He thought about what Makarov told him.

"Jay, I have some news for you. The other day when we went back to the war area, everyones body hasnt decomposed yet except for Juvia's and Meredy's. I thought you may want to know because that means we only have her bones left, so are you sure you still want to bury them?"

Jay chose to cremate it, and before the GMG, he threw her ashes into the ocean. He sighed as he thought of the last time he hugged Juvia's body. How could such a firm body decompose so quickly?

He sighed as he walked back to the podium of his team to find everyone cheering as the next game started. Eri smirked as she dodged Minerva's first attack. She poisitoned herself in the centre of the arena and charged up a forcefield around her. The forcefield slowly grew in size and pushed everyone out of the arena, leaving Eri alone. Eri laughed victoriously as the rest had their mouths gaped in shock. The power of Fairytail was unheard of.

"F-Fairytail is taking this years games home already!"

Really? I dont think so..

With a small thud heard, the arena started to shake and the earth began to crack. Screams were heard as people stood frozen in shock as they witnessed people falling into the cracks.

"What the hell?" Natsu gave a glance at Mavis, but Mavis was equally confused. Natsu sighed as he dived into the arena. "FLAME DRAGON WINGS!" Flames appeared behind his back and took the shape of wings as he dived towards a little girl falling into the crack which has lava in it. As the girl fell in, losing her grip, Natsu held on to her arm and flew back up, dropping her at the fairytail podium. He looked around to find only Mavis and Makarov in the podium, the rest of the members went to aid in rescue efforts.

"Natsu..." Makarov said. "Im sorry, we dont know what's this too." As Natsu attempted to jump back in, he was stopped by Makarov. "Wait, bring Lucy and Rei back here. Carla saw something in the future and told it to Mavis earlier. It had you, Lucy, Rei, Zai and Kay. We need to find Zai and Kay too."

"Dont have to." a guy voice was heard as he jumped down for the ceiling along with a girl. Their hair was unmistakable.

"Zaile and Kayleigh." Mavis said as the two grinned and turned around and jumped off the ledge. With a nod, they both turned into dragons and flew in midair as the rest brought those they rescued onto their backs.

"Have you ever seen this before, father?" Zaile asked. He felt a soft voice echo through his head.

"I never seen or heard about things like this. Theres not even supposed to be earthquakes here."

Zaile and Kayleigh unlocked a special power during their time in rosemary. They found a way to talk to their dragons.

"What could this mean?" Kayleigh asked.

"Im guessing its a spell. Something to cause panic. Whoever casted it has another plan."

"Jay, frozen platforms now." Kayleigh said and Jay nodded, before making ice platforms. Kayleigh and Zaile let those on their back go on the ice platform before flying back to the podium.

"Makarov, i dont think its only for causing havoc... but a distraction." Zaile said and Makarov nodded.

"We need to find the culprit." Mavis said. "But its going to be hard, everywheres emitting dark auras."

"Then, we'll just have to clear the aura." Kayleigh said, with a grin. "Help me out here, mother!" Kayleigh jumped off and dived towards the ground. "ROAR OF THE LIGHT DRAGON!" She casted as she was pushed backwards by the power of the roar. The light roar started to purify the dark aura and also help the other find where the other people in need of help are.

Soon, all the dark aura disappeared. Not one trace of it remained. "W-What? Where's the culprit?" Kayleigh bit her lip as she freefalled down and used her wings to soften her landing.

"Kay!" Zaile came running. "Someone took Rei!"

"What? How?"

"No one knows, we cant find Rei at all. I tried every method but i couldn't reach her. Something bad is happening."

Kay chuckled. "Who knew we would be on the other side now?"

Zaile replied with a grin as the two went back to the fairytail podium.

"You're back. Good, we have to talk about this." Makarov said. In the podium, Ryuka, Lucy, Natsu, Eri, Jay, Shiho and Makarov were inside. along with mavis and the siblings standing on the railings of the podium.

"First of, Rei is missing." Makarov said grimly. "Second, we cant find the culprit. Third, they wont stop the Grand Magic Games."

"Whoever did this is the one who took Rei away." Zaile said. "I believe so."

"Is there anyway to track down Rei?" Makarov asked and Kay shook her head.

Just then, a letter flew out of nowhere and into Makarov's hand. Everyone started crowded around Makarov as he opened the letter.

"If you want the death mage back... bring the dragons?" Makarov said and they all looked at each other, and then at Kay and Zaile.

"Why does this person need Rei and also us?" Zaile asked. Makarov handed him the letter and he scanned through it. There was no aura around it, nothing at all, it was just a normal letter. "I don't trust whoever this is."

"But we have to save Rei." Natsu said. "She's our nakama."

Zaile sighed and grinned at the end. "Do you mind if Kay and I joined fairytale, because i'm pretty sure we need your help with this."

Makarov gave a toothy grin while Natsu punched his fist in the air. "AYE SIR!"
