Chapter 18

Hello guys.. I know it was more than a week since I have posted a new chapter .. I'm really sorry but now my exams are over and I'm happy for that .. 😄😄😄

"Ready for what?" We heard a voice behind us and were shocked. It was Aaron. He had an weird expression on his face as if he heard us.

"Uh umm... ready to go with you my love." I replied to him with a smiling face but was scared to open my mouth.

"Oh okay. As you are ready and I'm ready too then let's go." He said while keeping his hand forward just like a gentlemen.

'I hope hope and really hope that he was not a bad person. I had really started liking him a lot. He is just too good. I never liked any boy in my life except my handsome dad and my little naughty bro, twan.' I thought to myself.

"George! George! Are you alright?" I heard Aaron asking me and I realised that i was day dreaming.

"Yeah yeah. What happened?" I asked after getting up from my dream.

"I think you were in coma. " Bess said and all started laughing.

"Lets go. I want my ring. " I said to him and we headed to his house. We were quite in the entire ride. He didn't open his mouth nor I opened.

'I felt like as if he was ignoring me. But why is he doing so? Is he angry with me? Did I do something wrong?'

'Wait... why am I thinking about him. Why should I think about him? He is No one to me. He is just a very big murderer and a thief who does many bad things.' I thought to myself and turned my attention outside towards the sprinting trees and the merry children running out of their homes.

We reached Aaron's home. And I was ready to face the challenge. I have to find if Aaron's mom and Aaron are the real culprits behind all this mess.

'Oh ya. There is a song right. What was the name? Oh god I don't remember. ' unasked myself to make myself feel better. I always sing a song to make my blood pressure normal to some extent.

"I'm a mess, I'm a loser
I'm a hater, I'm a user
I'm a mess for your love.... " And then I stopped singing after I heard Aaron calling me.

"George come on. Let's go inside." He said and then I got down the car with him. We rang the bell and the door was opened by a beautiful young girl. She was younger than me.

"She is Julie, our maid." He introduced me to her. "Hi. " I greeted her and she did the same.
We entered and sat on the sofa.

"Excuse me sir. My sister is ill and I have to take her to the hospital. Could you excuse me for a day, sir? " Julie asked.

"Yes. Why not. Do you need any help, like money? " Aaron asked but she refused. But then Aaron gave her $5000. And then she left. I was surprised by his act.

'Why did he give money to her? Is this his real face or the fake one? I don't understand him. It's very difficult to understand boys. Isn't it ? ' I thought to myself.

"Do you remember where you saw your ring the last time ?" Aaron asked me and I just nodded my head with a no. And then I remembered about our plan. I had to find out the truth.

"Could you bring me a glass of water? I'm thirsty." I asked him and them he went towards kitchen.

I didn't waste any time and started searching everywhere. I searched all the drawers, all the files and all the things which I felt suspicious. I was so busy that I didn't feel Aaron coming into the room.

"Did you get your ring?" I jumped in fear when I heard his voice.

"Nope. Not yet." He handed me the glass of cold water. And then something clicked up in my mind.

"I am sorry. But I wanted warm water. Could you.... " I asked him and I saw his expression change.

"Hmm .. Ya sure." He said and left the room again. I came out of the room in which was sitting and went to his mom's room.

I ran through the hallway but my bad luck, I bumped into a vase but I caught it before it could break. But still a sound was created.

"Who is it? Aaron is that you?" I heard his mom ask. I heard some sound and so I hid behind the door nearby.

Her mom came out of her room and searched for Aaron. As she didn't find him she went back to her room.

I was so scared that my heart was almost out of my chest. But then I remembered my primary school teacher's dialogue. 'keep your mouth shut or else your teeth will be on your hand with some blood on it.' He used to say this all the time to make us scared.

After Aaron's mom went into the room , some life had come into me and I came out form my hiding place.

WAIT WHAT !!! Aaron's mom is really walking. So now I got to know that she really walks.

"George, what are you doing here?" I greeted on hearing his voice.

I turned slowly to face him. I removed a ring from my finger and placed it on my palm.

"I got it. " I showed him the ring that I removed from my finger just now. "You know what, I think I have to leave. I got some work. And it's important. Bye. " I said it quickly and was ready to go out of the door.

"But why? Wait for sometime." He said with a concern and also with a doubt.

"No. I'm sorry. I have to leave. Please."

"Atleast let me drop you."

"No. It's fine. I will go by myself." I said and turned to open the exit door. But then he banged on the door and closed the door before I could open it.

My heart was pumping out of my chest. No one could imagine how I felt right now. It was unexplainable. I felt like I was going to get kidnapped. I felt insecure.

"Where do you think you are going George?" I heard a female voice behind me.

I could understand the voice without even looking at her. It was none other than Aaron's mom. I didn't want to turn and face them.

And then the next moment I was in his arms, half conscious. I had a blurred vision. I could see him but it was blur.

"Bring her to me son." His mom said. I couldn't feel anything except his arms around me. Now it was black everywhere. I was out of conscious.
