Reality Or Not?
I've always hidden my expression,
I'll s-s-stutter but look you straight in the eyes,
So forgive me for this sudden confession,
'Never mind.' I'll turn away and say my goodbyes.
Sunset, sunrise, I lie awake in bed,
Just pretend - pretend that you're next to me,
Each and every word I should have said,
But then again we're not meant to be.
Silly me, vulnerable and weak, falling for you,
You travel from east to west just like the sun,
I long for your smile - blank stares as I'm blue,
I can't eat, drink nor sleep, what have you done?
What is this? An ache in my chest?
