Jack explored his temporary shelter while thinking about Anti, the Irishman wondering how he'd be able to stay alive.

"Jack, there's someone at the door." Anti warned Jack sternly, his tone uncharacteristically serious.

"I'm not falling for that again." Jack scoffed, glancing at the door nonetheless.

Out the window, Jack could see two armed demons watching him.

"Shit!" Jack cursed quietly as he darted out of the living room, the front door slamming open as he retreated into the bedroom at the end of the hall.

"-not kill Anti? It doesn't make sense!" One demon complained to the other as they barged in.

"He told us not to kill him, and I'm not about to argue." The other demon replied, their voices growing louder as the two walked down the hall.

"Great, who is it that wants me dead this time?" Anti wondered aloud, his tone laced with bitterness.

"The fuck am I supposed to do?!" Jack hissed quietly as he searched the room for an escape route.

The Irishman started muttering curses under his breath when he realized that there was no way out of the bedroom except for the one door.

"I'll take care of them." Anti offered, taking control of Jack's body before Jack could protest.

Jack reluctantly allowed Anti to control his body, the demon bravely stepping out of the bedroom to face the other two demons.

"I HEARD Y'ALL TALKING SHIT!" Anti yelled loudly, startling the demons as he charged towards them.

Before either demon could recover, Anti tackled both demons to the ground and snapped the neck of one, pinning the other demon to the floor with his elbow.

"How did you find me?!" Anti growled menacingly, his black eyes boring into the other demon's.

"W-we had a scout follow you and tell us where you were." The demon squeaked fearfully.

"Who sent you?" Anti demanded coldly, his elbow driving harder into the demon's chest to keep him on the floor.

"I-I can't-"

Anti punched the demon hard in the face, the demon breaking off with a cry of pain.

"Alright alright! It was Dark, he sent us to find you, but he gave us strict orders not to kill you! That's all I know, please don't kill me!" The demon whimpered pitifully, Jack's heart breaking for them slightly.

Anti was silent as he glared at the sniveling demon, his expression shifting into a scowl as he removed his elbow from the demon's chest.

"Never come back." Anti warned the demon as they scrambled to their feet, shooting Anti a grateful glance over their shoulder as they ran out of the house into the night.

Jack finally regained control as Anti watched the demon disappear, his expression filled with disdain and barely restrained rage.

"I should've killed the fucker." Anti muttered bitterly as Jack slammed the door shut.

"Dark's alive." Jack murmured thoughtfully, feeling a sense of relief.

"Not for long." Anti sneered, his control over Jack's body returning abruptly so he can search for the dark haired demon.

"What the fuck? Why do I need to run?!" Mark blurted in confusion as he pressed a hand to his head.

"What's wrong?" Amy spoke up, her eyes shining with concern as she shot up off of the bed.

"It's Dark, he's telling me to run." Mark explained as he looked around him for any signs of danger.

Mark could hear rain beginning to batter the roof, the drips trickling down the windows while thunder boomed in the distance.

"Dark, why do I have to run?" Mark questioned the demon worriedly, the male biting his bottom lip as he waited for a response.

"Da-Damn it, I-"

Dark abruptly broke off with a wheeze, the demon sounding in pain as he struggled to speak.

"A-Anti kn-knows I'm a-alive." Dark choked out through gritted teeth.

"Oh god." Mark whispered, his eyes wide as he ran to the kitchen to hastily pack some supplies.

"Mark!" Amy called out after him, letting out a sharp breath as she followed him.

Together they packed some things into a bag and moved towards the door, Chica joining the couple there.

Mark opened the door and ran out first, Amy behind him for protection with Chica trailing behind.

The rain quickly soaked into their clothes, causing the pair to shiver as rain pelted them everywhere.

A flash of lightning made Mark freeze in his tracks, Any nearly running into him.

Another bolt of lightning struck the ground, the electric blue and purple colors glinting off of Anti's bloodstained knife.
