Today was the day I auditioned to BigHit entertainment, I've practiced for days for this. My mum encouraged me, my dad encouraged me, even Y/N encouraged me before she left! I know I can do this! sure I may be shy most of the time but this is where I build up my confidence! I took a deep breath as the time neared to perform to the.. judges? I'm pretty sure that's what there called, I started to pace back and forwards as I steadied my breathing "Yu Maia please come to the stage, I repeat Yu Maia please come to the stage" A female said on the loud speaker, I took a deep breath as I walked on stage.
"Hello, My name is Yu Maia and I am 16 years old, I will be singing a song my best friend wrote years ago to cheer me up from a breakup, its called Patchwork staccato (Not my song search up the original version IT IS AMAZING) it was originally Japanese so I translated it to Korean" I bowed to them and waited for the music to start.
I sang with as much emotion as I could, I remembered all the times me and my best friend shared and how she would always cheer me up, she wrote a whole song for me! She's done so much for me.. that's why I chose this song! As I finished I looked up at the judges, they all had straight faces so I started to get worried but then the man in the middle spoke.
