Annabeth's POV
I can't believe it. I just kissed Ethan and betrayed Percy. Why would I do that. I still lov-. Stop Annabeth you don't love him you had to do it to get back at him. It isn't okay what he has been doing. Yeah sure it isn't okay but he still is the love of my life.
While I was having a mental debate I didn't realize that I had started crying. I see Chiron walking towards us with Clarisse behind him."Where is Percy?" He asks me. I don't know what to do so I start crying harder. Chiron notices that something must have happened between me and Percy and walks towards Percy's cabin. I follow him.
When we reach the door Chiron knocked. There was no answer. We slowly opened the door and expected to see Percy. Instead we were greeted by an empty room. Everything was in its place and there was a letter on the bed. Chiron picked it up and began to read. He was positioned so that I couldn't see it but I could tell what it said wasn't good. He muttered something to himself and them turned to me and asked, "What exactly happened between you and Percy?" His tone made it seem like it was vitally important so I told him everything.
He dropped the letter and raced out. I stood there confused and then picked up the letter. It said:
To whomever is reading this tell Chiron that I won't be attending Camp Half-Blood any longer. I know when I'm not wanted and apparently I'm not wanted here. Goodbye and Good Luck. Your going to need it. Expect the unexpected and watch your back. I'll be back and it won't be on good terms. Sincerely Perseus Jackson. I felt the tears running down my face. Percy was gone and its all my fault. I start breathing quickly and black spots threaten to swallow my vision and then everything went black.
