Gordon let out a low whistle as Scott walked back in.

"You really screwed up this time, Scooter." The blond received a whithering glare form his older brother, which he smirked at.

"Act like that and you don't get a ride," he quipped, turning back to Oceans monthly. "Keys are still in her, be good and if you scratch her, I will enlist your son and Emma to help me hunt you down."

Scott's eyes went wide. He took a few steps backwards, turned around, and ran for the hangar like his head was on fire and his butt was catching. The superheros on the island gave everyone else a look.

"Her?" Spinneret asked Alan, who rubbed the back of his neck.

"It's kind of a long story, but..." He glanced at his brothers, who nodded, before turning back to Spinneret.

"Ever heard of International Rescue?"

"Scott, its getting late. You need to come back," Virgil said through the coms.

"No, I can't. Not without her," Scott said tonelessly. The was a sigh and the sound of the mic being passed heard through the com.

"Scott Carpenter Tracy, you have to the count of five before I send your son to go drag your behind back up here," Grandma Tracy said.

Scott reached forward to turn off the com and felt Thunderbird 4 jerk backwards.

"Surprise, I already sent him." Scott turned around and looked at his son out the back window. Said son was pointing toward a cave. Scott turned back to the comm.

"Sorry grandma, but he's on my side." He turned the comms off and spun 4 around, trying to figure out a way to get into the cave.

Emma swam deeper into the salty ocean water. Her clothes stayed bone dry, but her face was streaked with tears.

Scott knew how she was about him taking on criminals, but yet he had rushed to New York alone and tried to take on that guy. He was lucky that she had arrived just in time to save him, unlike the last time she tried to save...her friend.

"Lady Emma, what brings you so close to your father's kingdom?" A fish asked, stopping Emma's dive.

"Just tell my father I'm coming for a visit," Emma said.

The fish took off and Emma continued deeper. Her father's realm was vast but he chose to put his place at the deepest part of the sea, deeper then Thunderbird 4 or Jeff could reach yet.

Gliding through the front door, she was immediately greeted by a grinning cyclops. The smile morphed into a frown as Tyson saw her tear-streaked face. He pulled her into a hug, where she stayed for a long time, crying.

She felt two more arms wrap around her, and knew her father had found them. She continued to sob into her half brother's chest, not caring who saw.

"My dearest daughter, what is wrong?" her father's rumbling voice asked.

She explained with her face still buried in her half-brother's chest.

"Oh, Emma. I'm sorry," Tyson's deep voice said.

"Father, may I sped the night?"

"Yes, my daughter."

-----------------------------------------------------------
Jeff led his father into the cave.

"Emma!"

"Dad, she's not here." Jeff smiled at his dad, grabbed his hand, and led him over to a pair of sleeping bags. "We're staying here for the night. I already told great-grandma Tracy. This way, it's easier to get started in the morning, but you need sleep.

Scott sighed, "you're to smart for your own good. Fine, we'll spend the night."

Jeff brought him over to the sleeping bags he and his mother had set up for their undersea camping trips. Jeff missed his mom, but he had to be brave right then. For his dad, for his mom.

The pair sat against the wall, father holding son. Jeff could've sworn that he felt something wet fall on to his head. Jeff hugged his dad tighter, feeling him starting to shake with sobs.
