Blythe waited patiently on her comfortable modern couch. A DVD case from an hour ago still hadn't been opened, and has been laying on the coffee table untouched. She could see the bright skyline of the black night, in which the clock on the wall struck eleven on a Saturday night. Blythe was already tired as it was, but she refused to sleep until Boyce arrived. A few days ago, they both planned on having a film night. Watching a movie together while snuggling (and a fair bit of snogging) sounded lovely, but at the moment, it was anything but lovely to Blythe. Boyce already scheduled a 'lads night out' with his friends; Blythe thinking that they'd gone out to a pub to drink. Boyce did promise that he'd be back in time to watch the movie, but already an hour was passed for the time he said he'd finish.

Another fifteen minutes passed, and Blythe laid doubtfully on the floor. Her cell phone rested in her hand, waiting to be used, but Blythe was too tired to do anything. So instead for an hour, she stared up at the ceiling and took a short nap. Awakening ten minutes later, she checked her phone if there were any messages or missed calls from Boyce. Nothing. Blythe sighed and turned over on her stomach.

Suddenly, her familiar tune of the cell phone rang. Immediately pressing the button, she smacked the phone up to her ear and waited for the other line.

"Hey, baby." Boyce's voice shouted through the line. Blythe had trouble comprehending what he said, his voice drowned out by the loud music in the background. Blythe's thoughts were wrong, as she realized that he was in a club.

"Hello?" Blythe shouted back into the small microphone. Her ears were strained, concentrating on Boyce's voice.

"Hi, it's me, what's up baby?" Blythe barely heard from Boyce, but was smart enough to understand what he was saying. Blythe scoffed loudly, hoping he'd get the message. Yet of course, he couldn't hear.

"I'm sorry, listen babe, I'm gunna' be late tonight, so don't stay up and wait for me. OK?" Boyce screamed in through the phone. Blythe's eyes narrowed as the floor, confused as to what he was saying.

"Where are you?" She asked, repeatedly pressing the volume button to hear him clearer. That wouldn't do anything of course, since it was already to its maximum.

"What? Say that again?" Boyce said, stumbled in his words.

"Hello?" Blythe questioned, not sure if he said something or if it was the music. Basically in that moment, Blythe was naturally pissed.

"You're really dropping out, I think my battery must be low. Listen if you can hear me we're going to this place nearby, all right? Gotta go!" Boyce shouted as loud as he could through the line. It was enough that Blythe could hear and understand, yet not enough to leave her wondering. And as gone as a blink, the line went dead.

Blythe stared at her phone in hate. Not hate at the phone, but loathing entirely at Boyce. Her own boyfriend, in which she technically didn't want in the first place. Blythe was still in anger at Boyce, and it was perfectly normal. Except, for that she threw her expensive glass phone at the wall. Luckily, it didn't shatter, but it shattered the lamp that he phone came in contact with. Not having a care in the world about the broken item, Blythe opened the DVD case hastily and snapped the DVD in half. Then in quarters, then in eighths.

Although it was a small problem in their relationship, Blythe knew it would be the last. She hadn't liked the relationship in the start, but only continued it because of Zayn. She wanted to make him jealous, and that worked perfectly. Now after she thought about the idea more, she wished she hadn't gone with her plan. Because now, she couldn't have Zayn. Or did she even want Zayn in the first place? Yes, he was charmingly beautiful, with his ruddy stubble and shining brown eyes, but the fact that they fought every chance they had, that had to mean something of course. Her and Zayn weren't meant to be. They were never meant to be. So Blythe just had to accept it, and move on.
