A small ringing traveled from beside Blythe through her ears, interrupting her dreams and awakening her rudely into reality. Blythe opened her right eye, the bright sun shining through the slit of curtains and onto her face. For a second, she didn't recognize where she was, but then realized that she seemed to be sleeping on her bright red couch. Lifting her head an inch off the fluffy decorative pillow, she found a bright green blanket across her body, and the remote tucked in beside her knee. Trying to remember moments from the night before, Blythe distinctly remembered her cuddling on the couch watching 'The Notebook' on the telly as it was the only program on at nine at night. Her phone was still ringing beside her, the annoying default tone pinching her nerves. Snatching her phone from off the ground, she slid her finger across the touch pad and pressed the phone close to her ear. Clearing her throat, she waited for the other person to greet her.

"Blythe? Hello?"

Papa Armando's scruffy voice asked over the phone as a thin smile appeared on Blythe's lips. She cleared her throat once more before answering and sat upright on the couch, her hair in tangles around her stomach.

"Papa! Morning!"

She replied back, humor and smiles in her voice. Blythe was always happy and excited while talking to Papa Armando, as he always had something special in mind for her. Blythe waited patiently for his reply, as all she could hear was the quiet sound of buzzing.

"Yes, Blythe! Mattina bambino buono! How was your sleep?"

He asked, with the very same excitement Blythe had always heard him with. Blythe softly chuckled as she dipped her body from right to left on the couch. Blythe could never stay still in the morning as she was most exciting during this time of day. The bright sun always greeted her hopefully, when of course, the London weather was co-operating with her mood.

"It was good Papa! I feel all nice and refreshed"

Blythe replied with as she sat cross-legged on the couch. Her right thigh started to bounce up and down happily, as for some unknown reason she was in a very happy mood. It wasn't everyday that Papa Armando called her, and when it was, it was for a good and special reason.

"Wonderful! If you aren't busy today, come down to the shop, I have great news to tell you!"

Papa Armando stated, his voice slow and clear now. Blythe's eyes widened in happiness as she was definitely in a good mood now. Blythe nodded fervently, even though Papa Armando couldn't see it. Blythe knew that she didn't have work today, as for the past couple days she was running around tiredly, working up a sweat for her dance class. Today, and tomorrow were her days off, until again her shifts started.

"Yes Papa! I'll come straight away, just give me half an hour and I'll be there!"

Blythe proposed as she heard Papa Armando's chuckle through the phone. She bid Papa Armando a goodbye as she hung up the line and jumped from the couch. Carrying her phone with her to the bathroom, she streamed the radio from an app and started to get ready. Blythe was in such a happy mood, that nothing could bring her down. The sun was shining bright today, and the weather wasn't as cold for early October, therefore making Blythe content. Dressing in a pair of clean, white skinny jeans, she placed a black long-sleeve shirt over her white bra and bare stomach, and headed towards the bathroom. Applying her thick mascara and modern eyeliner, she ran a small hand through her long chestnut brown hair, debating on whether to spend time on her long, messy locks. Finally making up her decision, she plugged in the thin purple straightener and waited for it to heat up to the maximum, wanting to straighten her thick strands.

Running the hot clamp along her hair for the umpteenth time, Blythe finished, wasting only a mere ten minutes of pampering up. Stuffing her phone in her back pocket, Blythe turned off the straighter and brushed her teeth, then headed out the door and into the warm, sunlit air.
