Ame's POV
It's dawn and I left for the orphanage a safe and hidden distance from the Capital.
I walked through the thick forest, dodging the vines and branches of the forest, the very things that hides my heart's source of strength.
Once a green and brown hut, hidden behind three large trees came into view. I opened the wooden, titanium enforced, door and strolled in.
"Are there any little birds? Any deer? Lambs? Kittens? Where are the laughing moons I sing with tonight?" The words I spoke out with a lacy and gentel voice brought squeals and bright smiles out from the multiple hiding places of the larger inside then outside hut.
"Ame-sama!"
"Ame-onee!"
"Oneechan!"
Children of all ages wrestled me to the ground.
Then, a certain pale blonde stepped out into my line of view. Dressed in a beautiful (blue tone)white wedding gown with her short-ish hair tied into a side ponytail with a deep blue ribbon.
"Welcome back, Ame-san,!" The bride greeted me with a smile.
I let out a laugh as I ushered the kids to quiet down. "It's good to be back, Violet." I say back to the blonde.
A male with scruffy brown hair and clear blue eyes stepped out from the shadows, wearing a deep--almost black--blue tuxedo and white tie. "Hey, welcome back." The kindhearted male grinned at me.
"Thanks, Sam. I see the two of you are ready." I note, pointing out to their formal and fancy clothes that I sowed together.
A blush spread across Violet's cheeks. "... Well... we kind of... found a place in the country side... outside the kingdom's boarders... to live... and..."
I cute the stammering girl off and finish her sentence. "...and you both want to move out. Alright, I'll bring you both there today then."
They gave me grateful smiles, their eye showing me the determination and strength I taught and trained them to have.
I gave a smile, one that I only use while here in my place of pride and joy. "Then someone get the candles and red ribbons of departure." I shout softly.
The children ran about, looking for the items of departure. Though they are all running on hollow wood floors, not a sound was heard. Only the sounds of the outside world echoed.
'I taught them all well... I guess I'll have less worries about them...'
No One's POV
The children sat in rows of seven in two sets, a path dividing the two groups for Violet to stroll down.
Ame and Sam sat in kneeling positions, Ame facing Violet and Sam facing Ame, not allowed to look back at his beautiful bride.
The setting was akin to that of a typical wedding hall based outdoors. Everyone kneeling instead of sitting in chairs.
Violet kneeled next to Sam, to his right, and both held out their wrists, Sam his right and Violet her left. Their palms faced the sky as Ame draped a single red ribbon over their wrists.
Silently taking a second crimson red ribbon, Ame held each end in each hand, pulling it from under, then crossing over their wrists.
The first bright red ribbon illuminated against Sam's tan skin whiles the second, deeper red, ribbon contrasted against Violet's pale skin tone.
Ame motions the two to turn and face each other. Azure blue eyes meeting gentel berry purple ones.
With their hand(s) that's free of ribbons, Violet's right and Sam's left, they pressed their palms together--as if there was a mirror between them--before letting their fingers fall and lace together.
The cerimony was silent, not a word said, not a sound rang. The winds picked up, the long ribbons' flowing ends lacing and giving Violet the look of a goddess, at least in Sam's eyes.
The words Ame now speaks, the only words allowed to be said laced with grace, pride and... love...
"In this day and age, I pray for your safety, your happiness, your fortune, your lives. Protect each other, from this day forward, you are not two lovers... you are two tied as one by these ribbons of life and death."
The ribbons began to fade away, leaving a red ring around the two's wrists.
The children brought two backpacks and two swords to Violet and Sam whiles the shy twin, strawberry blonde, girls lead the horses to them.
"Have a safe trip." Ame smiled, handing them each the hand crafted swords she spent many nights and days forging.
The two strapped the swords to the hips, no longer wearing formal attire, but the attire of a 'commoner' in the country. "Thank you Ame... okāsan..."
They all watched as the two rode off as the sun began to rise. The children soundlessly went back into the hut as Ame stared for a moment longer, a feeling akin to a mother seeing her children off washed over her.
Ame's POV
I walked back inside the hut. I looked to the oldest of the children, well the only two teen left in the hut. "Daikun, Kate, I leave you in charge."
The dark haired male with red pink eyes gives me a playful solute.
Kate stared at me with her red and gold eyes, raking her hand through her white bangs and deep blue hair.
"Yes ma'am!"
