A/N: Okay, I realize this is getting dumb but I just couldn't end it....yet. So, here's another chapter!

Before Chris could think to move, Ryan was charging straight at Spencer and screaming. "GET VEE THE FUCK OUT OF HERE!"

Her eyes wide with terror, Victoria stepped out from behind Chris, shaking her head. "He's going to get killed! Spencer is going to kill him!"

Panicked himself, Chris nodded frantically and moved his hands around erratically. "Vee, run! Go to the lake and get into a canoe and paddle to the middle of the water and stay there. Do you understand? DO NOT COME TO THE SHORE UNTIL YOU SEE THE POLICE! DO YOU HEAR ME?"

Horrified and her mind racing in a million directions, Victoria nodded, and her ponytail bounced every which way. "But what about –?"

"I'm going to go help Ry," Chris assured her. He nudged at her shoulders, then thought differently and drew her into a quick, tight hug. "Please listen to me this once, Victoria. It's important. I need for you to survive this, okay?"

Victoria shook her head again as he drew away from her. "We're all going to be fine. We have to be okay, okay? Promise?"

"I can't promise that!" Chris' brown eyes were full of fear and sadness. "Just go get in a canoe and stay in the middle of the lake. Spencer sucks at handling a canoe, okay? That's why they would never make him Head Counselor. He has to know that he can't swim with a knife in his hand, so just go, Vee. Stay safe, okay? Promise me?"

She nodded, tears rushing to her eyes as she ran after Chris but passed him on her way toward the boat shed on the lake. He veered off toward the left, heading further down the trail that went around the lake's west side. She heard Spencer screaming something in a high-pitched, psychotic voice, then Ryan responding with a tone of sheer, gruff annoyance, but she listened to her friend's warning and kept running. When she reached the shore of the small body of water, she groaned as she realized that she was going to have to muscle-up and drag the green canoe from its location beside the small boating shed. Fuck. If only she hadn't taken her gym requirements on-line!
