02: Fake Boyfriend

The following day has already arrived with Suho going through his morning routine before heading to work, and voila— another day starts for him! He went to his office and did his work, like always. “Boringggg.” Said he in his thoughts.

Lately, had been a bit more tired than usual. The bags under his eyes became more visible. Plus, more paperworks also means more work for him to do. Well, he can't do anything about it. The job must be done.

Just then, as he was doing some works, three sudden knocks came upon.

"Come in." Uttered Suho, still staring straight at the computer screen.

“Annyeong! Suho-hyung, it's me!” A cheerful yet unrecognizable voice said, making him look for the person who was behind the door. It was Chen. Suho was confused and a bit shocked for a while before smiling warmly at the other one.

“Oh, hi Chen? Come in.”

The latter went inside the office without any hesitations before sitting beside the older. He looked at what Suho was doing and he thought that he seemed busy.

‘Busy doing paperworks even in lunch time? Yikes. He must be a really hardworking worker then.’ Chen thought before letting out a cough just to get Suho's attention, and he did succeed.

“Oh— ah, I'm sorry Chen. Anyways, what brings you here?” He turns his seat, facing the other one's while blinking simultaneously.

“Hyung, it's lunch time. That is what brings me here.” Chen answered as he chuckled.

“Lunch time? Ah, I get it. You want me to treat you?” Suho asked, slightly laughing while looking at Chen, who soon shook his head and answered no.

“Aniyo hyung! I just want to invite you for lunch— together with Baekhyun and Chanyeol. And don't worry because it's my treat.” Suho then looked at his wrist watch and saw what time it already was. 12:09 PM. Lunch time was supposed to start at quarter to twelve in the afternoon.

“Aish, omona I totally forgot about that! Alright alright, I'm in.” He chuckled and nodded to Chen's offer until the two of them got out of the office, going to the ground floor.

As the two of them got inside the elevator, Chen decided to break the deadly, cold, iced atmosphere.

“Suho hyung, I noticed that you've been tired lately. You forgot lunch, and then your eyes says it all.” He shrugged, staring straight at front, but not making direct contact with his hyung.

“How'd you know? Hm, but that's not the case since you're right. I have been tired, so much.” Suho questioned. They met each other's eyes for a while before the younger one cringed and smiled in a mischievous manner.

“Sorry if I may have seemed creepy to you hyung, but you know, Chanyeol and Baekhyun open their mouths a lot and sometimes they happen to tell things about you. I heard from them that you're an amazing person so I wanted to be friends with you, and I kept on stalking you here yet I'm too shy to approach you.” Chen admitted. His cheeks turned into a light shade of pink from the embarrassment that he just said. On the other hand, Suho was a little shocked, specially when Chen said that he was an amazing person. And to be honest, Suho was speechless. Not knowing what to reply, he just let out a cute giggle.

As they finally arrived at the ground floor, the conversation didn't end.

“Sorry too if I act this way. I'm acting like we've been bestfriends for so long. I'm a bit talkative, mianhae.” Chen apologized. Suho stared at him and was internally laughing his ass out. If Chen was like that, Suho was the exact opposite. But Suho does get talkative after he gets to know the person a lot better.
