One week later: Its been a week since Hanson lost his life and the LAFD is in our dress uniforms which are used for ceremonies. We walked out of the church carrying the caskey and placed onto the top of engine 10. I saluted the firefighters on Engine 10 and the procession started to roll. I was carrying Hansons hat in hand. There were firefighters and police officers and random people lining the streets to say Goodbye and Thank you. We arrived at the Cemetary. I stood up at the podium and said "Firefighter hanson would always find a way to help innocemt people whem they needed it. He always cheered up his fellow firefighters. Although he did put a snake on my desk for my birthday. I would have never fired him". They lowered his casket into the ground as I saluted him. The LAPD sent him off with a 21 gun salute. We arrived back at the station and hung his picture in the Station 10 Hall of Fame with his hat next to his picture on a small podium.
