Chapter 1: Legend Of The Blood Rose

One thousand years ago, deamons from the seven hells sent a curse open humanity, that would last for an eternity. A small number of individuals were chosen to possess the curse of the Blood Rose and once those people died, new ones were chosen at birth.

They have been granted quicker reflexes, an enhanced sense of smell and hearing, and.. less beneficial traits.

The original intention of those 'Blood Roses'was to bring chaos and despair upon the world, but not everyone of them followed that trend and so their reputation is quite mixed throughout the whole world.

Our story will take us on the journey of those individuals. Together they went on many adventures, fought many enemies and gained quite a reputation, if positive or negative is still to be seen.

But before their big journey can even start, they have to find each other, because they are scattered all around Avanturia..

Intro:

This is Avanturia. A magical land fullof diversity, from hot deserts to icy mountains and not lessdifferent are the inhabitants.

This story is set two years after the Civil War and twenty-two years after the last Great War. The land is still scarred from it's outcome, that was however for the benefit of everyone, for the tyranny of the former High King, Ivoron Whitebeard has ended and Theon Redmane (ealier known as Haggis) sat on the throne. It seemed as though he was a peaceful ruler and under his banner, the restoration of the land went quicker than expected. Since the end of this Civil War, Avanturia had a strong bond with the neighbor nation Vylaria, who helped to win the war and put Theon on the throne.

Our story starts in a small house in Autumn Fall, the trading capital of Avanturia and the most peaceful city amongst all of them....

„So you're saying, that there are more with this.. *clears throat* condition?" a man asked. He had shoulder long black hair, which he currently had tied back to a knot,leaving only one strand, that was just above his eyepatch over theright eye, that covered a scar. He also had a 'Captain Jack' beard.(Yep, that's a thing.)

„Well, technically, yes. With youit's.. well, it's just a bit different, because it seems like thereis some kind of birth defect, maybe heterochromia iridum, concerning your right eye, this is why it is like this, normally you'd be able to hide it." the other man replied, he was an elderly man, withlong blonde hair, that started greying. He had a long, scruffy fullbeard.

„Yeah, I figured as much. Goodthing, I've got this eyepatch and this scar to make it believable."the first man said.

„By the way, you never told me, how you got it, right?" the second one asked.

„I didn't? Well, it's actually not that big of a deal. I got it from my fight with a chimera, my first one of those." the first one replied.

„Not a big deal? Young man, fighting a chimera all by yourself is more than just a big deal. And you even survived!" The second man praised.

„Oh,stop it you," he replied with a sly grin, „You know I've fought bigger things on my own. Anyway, I've gotta go. If there are some more with my curse, then I want to do my quickest to find them." he said, „But how will I know, that they are bearers of this curse?"

„I seriously don't know. I would suggest instinct, or a polite question, perhaps."

„I'll give it a shot. Thanks, Ralof, for everything."

„Don't mention it, it was like giving my niece a history lesson! Now then, be on your way. And goodluck, Fenrock."

Said Fenrock left the house, which was Ralof's home, or more like residence, because Ralof actually lives in Vylaria and is just here for some studies as an archmage.
