The annoyed Fenrock and the.. very embarrassed and somewhat nervous Brynjolf were moving over the roofs. Fenrock had just killed this Gandril Ebonwood, who proved to be a total wimp, claiming to be an arch mage, but he wasn't that big of a challenge really..
They had agreed, that Brynjolf would go to that 'date' because.. well, it wouldn't help it now, they would have to eliminate her afterwards..
The hours passed and the sun was setting, Brynjolf was on his way to the fountain after he had dressed himself up as good as possible. Bella was already waiting for him. The light of the setting sun and the glistening water of the fountain really emphasized her, which was quite unhelpful for Brynjolf. He and Fenrock went to buy some flowers earlier, which was more than akward itself, since Fenrock had to give him some advice on which flower to buy, because Brynjolf didn't know anything about them at all..
„Show time.." thought Brynjolf.
„Hey, Bella, good evening!"
„Oh, hey Brynjolf, shall we go?" she asked.
„Yeah, sure," he then gave her the flowers, „oh and they are for you."
„Aw, thank you, they are so beautiful!" Bella replied happily.
As they were walking through the streets, on their way to the restaurant, Brynjolf remembered something.. HE DIDN'T BOOK A TABLE!
„Ohgoddamnit ohgodamnit ohgoddamnit, what do I do know?!" Brynjolf tried his best not to panic.
Suddenly a small note fell from the roof, right in front of Brynjolf. Curiously he picked it up and read it,
„Forgot to book, did ya, idiot?
Go to the restaurant at the bridge,
in the south of the city, your
reservation is under your name.
PS: Don't screw this up!"
It was from Fenrock. A real lifesaver.. They then got to said restaurant an were brought to their table. There they were, a table for two, then sun had set and the stars were glowing in the night sky. Brynjolf usually never got nervous talking to any girls, but this one was different...
„So.. Bella, what do you do for a living?" Brynjolf asked.
„I've got this tailor shop at the fountain, remember, you were already in there today?" Bella replied.
„Oh.. uh right, then, what brings you here to Muinn Dir?" Brnyjolf asked instead, blushing a little.
„Oh you know, this and that. I guess, I kinda just wanted to get away from my past life, start a new, completely independent from everyone else." she replied.
„That sounds like you had a difficult past. Something, we have in common, I guess. Is it okay for you to talk about it?" he continued asking.
„Well, depends," she said, „What would you like to know?"
„What were you doing before you came to Muinn Dir?" he wondered.
„Well, you could say, that I was kind of a big deal, or at least my family. Well, before everything went downhill.."
„Why? What happened?"
„Sorry, I'd like not to talk about that.."
„Oh, of course, I'm sorry." Brynjolf apologized, and then the guilty conscience struck him as he saw a single tear rolling down her face, „Is.. is everything ok?" he asked worried.
