Twilight (Quil and Claire)

Chapter 6

~Quil's POV~

The whole packed went to the La Push beach with our imprintees and our families.

We had the day off of guard duty.

The packed played kickball. It was hard to tell who won since everyone cheated.

Emily brought a little boy named Joey. She said it was Claire's and Taylor's second cousin.

Kim played with Clarie. Kim really like Clarie.

Jacob's dad, Billy, sat by Jared's and Paul's dad. The three of them laughed watching us play kickball.

My mom and Jared's mom sat with Emily talking about some cooking show.

It was nice to get out for once and not worry about vampires.

Claire's sister Taylor was already in the water getting her clothes all wet.

The little boy Joey was playing in the sand with Clarie. They worked on barring their hands.

Kim watched them, laughing. Taylor came up and grabbed Kim's leg, leaving a big wet mark on her pants. "Oh-Taylor!" she screeched.

Jared's head snapped up, hearing Kim's screech. He laughed when he saw Kim all wet.

We finished playing kickball and went to sit back down with everyone else.

Sam went right to Emily and starting kissing her. He started at the lips and started to move toward her neck.

Jared grabbed Kim and sat her in his lap. He wrapped his arms around her waist and kissed her cheeks.

Claire ran over to me and sat next to me.

Clarie started telling me about when she went to the water park with Taylor a couple of weeks ago before I imprinted on her.

When she was finished, Taylor, Kim, Jared, Clarie and I went walking down the beach.

Keeping Clarie and Taylor out of the water was hard. Taylor went out so much, only her head was sticking out of the water.

Jared had to run out and get her. Jared ended up get more wet than both of them.

Kim laughed every time he had to go get Taylor.

Clarie didn't do to far. She stay close enough to where I didn't have to get my clothes wet.

After we got back, we went to Emily's to rest. Clarie had a nap and Taylor played with Kim and Jared with toy dolls.

Paul had a nap with Claire. Emily and Sam talked about their wedding. They didn't want to have it too soon because of all the vampire activity going on.

Jacob and I went outside to talk.

"I'm never going to imprint", Jacob complained. "Sure you are", I replied, trying to cheer him up.

Truth is, I don't know if he is or not. Nobody knows. "Jake, your not the only one who hadn't imprinted. Paul, Embry, Seth, Leah. They haven't." I told him.

"Yeah...but I love Bella! Why can't I imprint on her!?!"

"Jake. Bella is with Edward. There's another girl out there for you. You just have to be patient." I said.

He sighed.

Jake left to go check on his dad. Embry, Seth and I watched TV for the rest of the day.

I went to bed early again since I had patrol in the morning.

~Sam's POV~

I woke up at 8am. Emily was still asleep. She was so cute when she was asleep.

I had a shower and got dressed. When I got out of the bathroom she was awake.

"Good morning!" she told me.

I smiled. I walked over to her and leaned down and pressed my lips to her.

Good morning," I said to her while kissing her.

We kissed each other until she pulled away.

"Don't you have somewhere to be?" she asked me.

"Yeah", I sighed.

She grinned.

"I'll see you at 12", I told her trying to smile.

She nodded. "Okay, see you then".

I kissed her one last time and turned around and left.

~Kim's POV~

Jared had patrol duty so I decided to wait for him at Emily's house.

I knocked on the door and Claire answered.

"Hey Claire.....What's up?" I asked her sweetly.

"Nowthin...." she sang.

"Can I come in?" I giggled.

"Claire! What are you doing?" I heard Emily call from the other room.

I walked in and shut the door behind me.

Emily walked out from the bedroom.

"Oh hey! Sorry I was cleaning the bedroom," she told me.

"Oh no it's fine. Claire let me in", I snickered.

Emily laughed.

"I guess I have to child-proof the door now", Emily said while chuckling.

I bent down and tickled Claire. She squealed.

I chased her into the living room.

She sat me down and starting reading to me. I've seen Quil listen to her read for over two hours.

I don't think I could do that but I let her read to me anyways.

I'm glad she had Quil. I knew they were complete with each other. Just like me and Jared.

~Emily's POV~

Sam came home and went straight to bed. He told me that the vampires will be attacking tomorrow so he needed his rest.

I went to check on him around 7pm. I brought him some food knowing he was starving.

I tucked Claire and Taylor into bed and kissed them goodnight. I went into the bedroom and got in bed with Sam.

He was snoring very loudly. It was okay though. I didn't mind.

I feel asleep curling into Sam's chest.
