DISCLAIMER: I OWN NOTHING JUNIPER POV Kasey falls into his bed with a sigh. He had a t-shirt and sweat pants, his buttered toast colored hair was still spiked and long like it was in high school. His face was different. His jaw was stronger he was more muscular. His scars were faded. "How was work?" I ask as I slide my arms into his chest. Kasey didn't look at me. His electric blue eyes were staring at the ceiling. He grabbed my hand securely. "Terrible.....There was a murder....basically a family was asleep when a murderer slipped inside....he wanted to kill this little girl...but his father shot him before he got the chance to kill his daughter. The murderer and the father hated each other....so the murderers family sued him, Ruth was doing this discounted....I had begged her to, the family wasn't able to pay for a lawyer. It was so obvious that this man was innocent...he didn't purposely kill a man...he killed him because he had to save his daughter....but since Ruth was barley getting any money, she barley tried to save this man from going to jail... I saw....this small girl...about four years old, run up to her father and hug his legs right after he got sentenced fifty years in prison. She sobbed, screaming 'No Daddy! Don't Go!' Her mother was also devastated. Meanwhile Ruth grabbed her....Prada bag....and left the courtroom." Kasey spits out the expensive bags name as if he were saying his worst enemy's name. Kasey has to work with Ruth for a year before he could become a solo lawyer. He hated Ruth...and now I know why.....how many tears does it take for her to buy herself a Prada? "Baby...that's why you're with her....to do better than her and be a good person," I whisper. "What if I ruin a little girl's life? What if I turn into a monster?!" Kasey asks. "You won't.....you're not a monster....and you will never purposely destroy anyone's life....plus, Stella's going to make sure you don't...." Kasey looks at me. "You named her?" I blush bright red. "Sorry...when the doctor said she was a girl, Stella was the first thing to pop into my head." Kasey smiles and grabs my face lightly. "I was thinking of Stella too," He mumbles. I bite my lip lightly as I look into Kasey's blue eyes. Even though it's been a few years I still love him more than I thought I could ever love anyone. I turn off the lights and cuddle into Kasey's side. I felt safe with his arms wrapped around me.
MAX POV I was doing homework on my bed. I have to study for my drivers test that I have to do. Max came in a few minutes ago. She's so beautiful, and I'm her boyfriend.....it's just so crazy that me of all people get to date someone like her. She kept blabbing on about photography. It's her passion, and I love that she feels so passionately about her pictures. I grab the small photograph I have of her inside my book.
