SEVEN:The Rouge Rescue Mission
"Sometimes following your heart means losing your mind."-Unknown.
-
I never believed in fate. Not once did I ever think that fate had a hand in anything I ever did.
Somehow, every other person on the face of the planet seemed to.
My entire family, Amber, Jackson, and Troy, all believed in it, which seemed childish to me.
Amber believed she had met Jackson completely by fate and he thought the same with her.
Troy also thought we met by fate, but I had a different theory.
Logic.
We didn't meet by chance.
Amber had told me about the program, I wanted to be in the Air Force so I joined.
That wasn't cosmic fate.
We were bound to meet.
But right now, as I sat tied to a chair, I was desperate.
In that moment I believed in fate.
I believed that a miracle would happen.
But then they came back in.

((momentarily third person))
Amber runs up to Troy back at camp with Fury and Abbey in tow behind her.
"Simmons! We have a problem!" She says as she walks up to him.
"What is it? And where is Sealey, why doesn't she have her dog?" He looks behind her and frowns.
"That's the thing. I don't know where she is. We were doing inspections and she walked off to check something Fury was barking at and then a few minutes later, he came running up to me, barking and Emma was no where to be seen." She shakes her head.
Troy's face grows dark.
"We have to tell-" He starts but she cuts him off.
"Tried that already. They said they won't go look for her, because as far as they know she's just AWOL." She sighs.
"So we go and find her ourselves." Morales says, walking up to the two of them.
"There is no we," Amber says, furrowing her eyebrows.
"Simmons and I will be just fine on our own, thanks." She crosses her arms over her chest.
"Look, I know I don't know her as well as you two do, I'm not saying I do and that's definitely not a battle I would win, but I do know her. And we're all a family now. Your fellow soldiers are your family. Which means I would do anything to find her, or you, or you, or anybody here." He crosses his arms over his chest, matching Amber's stance and sass.
