((I apologize, I said there wasn't going to be a flashback in this chapter but theres going to be one. Just one though))

"Cadet Sealey, front and center." Sergeant Osborne calls me over and I run over to him.
I 'report in' and stand in attention.
I could feel Troy watching us from a distance while he commanded the rest of the squadron.
I'd talked to him several times about how Osborne made me uncomfortable and how he continuously made advances towards me that I wasn't comfortable with.
Sure, we weren't a couple yet, but after forcing Amber to give me his number and faking questions about CAP, we had eventually done away with the formalities and grown close. I felt comfortable talking to him about anything.
"You're out of uniform. Again." He glares at me.
"I'm sorry, I have to get the new patch sewn on still, Sergeant." I say, avoiding his eyes.
"I thought you had that done weeks ago, Cadet." He gets close to my face and I hold my breath.
"It's not my fault. I'm still waiting for my dad to take it. He just hasn't yet." I close my eyes tightly.
"You'll look at me when I'm talking to you, Cadet." He says coldly and I open my eyes, trying not to let my fear be evident.
"Osborne!" Troy calls from across the yard and jogs over to us.
"What, may I ask, are you doing to Cadet Sealey?" He crosses his arms as he looks at him.
He goes into attention, making me roll my eyes subtly.
"Cadet Sealey is out of uniform, sir. I was just correcting her, sir." He says and I scoff.
"No, you know the rules. We don't get in their faces, thats considered harassment." Troy glares at him and I feel a small smile creep onto my face.
"But, with all due respect sir, she's out of uniform for the second week in a row with the same excuse." He furrows his eyebrows.
"Oh, well I happen to know why she isn't in uniform." Troy says and nods his head.
"And why is that, sir?" He asks.
I watch Troy carefully. What was he going to say?
"She doesn't have her uniform because she left it my house last Monday night." He looks Osborne straight in the eye, smirking softly.
My mouth drops open but I close it quickly and bite my lip.
