The two were quiet, until Ariana said, "Frankie, I'm happy. I thought I wouldn't be, but I am. Without him, I feel like a weight has been lifted off of my shoulders."
"Yeah, we know him, why?" Ariana said, looking worriedly at Justin, then back at the officer. She felt Justin's hand grip onto hers tighter.
"Well, we found out why you," the officer jerked his head towards Justin, "have been feeling so sick." He nodded his head towards Arnold. "But I think it'll be better if I let him explain himself."
Ariana, Justin, and Scooter looked at Arnold, who looked bored. He realized all eyes were on him, and he let out an exasperated sigh. "Use common sense? What else is there to say besides Jai paid me to poison you?"
Justin suddenly jumped off of the bed, lunging at the man. "You son of a bitch!" He barely got his hands wrapped around Arnold's throat before a police officer held him back. Scooter stood in between them, arms extended.
"Justin, calm down! Violence isn't going to change anything!"
Justin ignored him, struggling to at least see Arnold. Justin was being held back by the main officer, and Ariana was standing besides him, arms wrapped around his waist, her head buried in his chest.
"That isn't the whole damn story!" Justin yelled, staring at Arnold. The dealer rolled his eyes, but everyone could trace fear in his empty orbs.
"What do you mean? I know what happened better than you. All you knew was the toilet." He smirked, sending Justin over the edge.
Ariana squeezed her eyes shut as Justin wriggled in the police officer's grip. She light traced circles on his back slowly, making him remember her sensitivity. Immediately, he calmed down, but kept his stern glare at the man in front of him.
"Exactly, and you know that that didn't happen. Tell me the truth or else I'll fucking find you in your prison cell and beat the fucking crap out of you."
Arnold whistled, amused. "All for a girl? No wonder Jai wanted to hurt you."
"What?" Ariana spoke up, for the first time.
"Jai told me that he was upset that his girlfriend was spending way too much time with that blondie. He wanted to teach him a lesson to stay away from his girl. That girl must be worth it, having Jai having to threaten someone and you to fight for her like that." Arnold chuckled, publicly entertained by everything, like it was nothing.
Ariana, on the other hand, was self-loathing, wondering if she was just a little less friendly towards Justin or little more of a better girlfriend to Jai, none of this would happen. Justin would've never gotten sick and Jai wouldn't be in as deep of shit as he is now, or at least, will be. Attempted poisoning, to Justin Bieber?
She snapped out of her thoughts when she heard Justin call her name. "Ariana is worth it, but Jai isn't. He doesn't deserve someone as amazing and beautiful as her. He treats her like she's nothing when she's everything. She deserves someone who truly loves her, never hurt her, and would do anything to protect her. I may not be her boyfriend, but I would do anything to protect her and if you don't fucking tell me what the hell happened with you and Jai in the past few days I will personally make sure you get the death penalty."
"Justin, please. That's too much, you're just stressed right now, please," Ariana sighed, moving her arms up and down his waist.
"I'm stressed too, so get going Arnold. We don't have all day, but you, you'll have your whole life in prison without parole if you don't start speaking."
"Just for trying to kill Mr. I'm So Famous Bieber? If it wasn't Bieber, I would probably just be in jail for a year tops." Arnold rolled his eyes.
The head police officer, who was holding Justin back, spoke up. "If it wasn't Bieber, you'd still go to jail for possessing and selling drugs, plus attempted poisoning now. So you better start talking."
