Ethan's POV)

We were about 10 minutes from the hotel and Felix was passed out on my arm.

"Having fun back there, buddy?" Tyler snickers as I glare daggers into him.

"Would you if you had a drunk Felix, asleep on you?" I humph and look out the window.

"At least he'll be quiet tonight." He spoke too soon.

"The cotton candy trail, Edgar." I laugh and so does Tyler, making him look in the mirror.

"Was Felix sleep talking?!" Tyler asks, still laughing. I get an idea and I speak.

"Who is the best YouTuber?" I ask him. He stirs a bit and then sits back in the position.

"Jackaboy!" He rolls a bit and I laugh. I catch my breath before asking again.

"Who are you?" I ask. If he was this funny about the other things, I wonder what it would be like for his own name. I watch him stir and he grumbles.

"Exe." He mutters. I don't laugh, I just stare in shock.

"No, you're Felix," Tyler laughed in the front seat. I just stayed still.

"No, human, I'm exe." I looked to the sleeping Felix. He was still asleep, but it didn't sound like him.

"How do you exist?" I ask. He chuckles, waking up and turning his head, his eyes tar-black, crying the black substance.

"Oh, mortal, you wouldn't understand. Demons like me are inside of everyone." He gets up, making me shift back in my seat to look at the demon.

"No, they aren't, you liar." I practically screamed.

"Let Felix go!" Tyler pulled the car over on the side of the road, out of the way of traffic.

"Why would you want this pathetic human? He can barely make anyone else feel better without hurting them. I mean, look at Mariza! He pranked her with a cheating decoy!" He laughed making Tyler turn back in his seat, ready to punch the dude.

"What do you want?" I ask. He chuckles, a deep and maniacally enhanced laugh.

"And he finally asks. I want his views, of course. I want people to turn to the dark side. That's why I'm here after all." Exe laughs, leaving us scared. Tyler turns the car on and we start to go to the hotel.

"What can we do to make you go away?" I ask. I tremble and wait for an answer.

"I want to be able to go to this, 'Playlist' thing I've heard so much about. In return, I give him back, unharmed and without my control." I look at him, his smile weakening.

"You won't hurt anyone. You're just looking through his eyes. You are not going to be in charge." I glare into his eyes as he nods.

Soon, Felix lies back down and he falls back to sleep.

"Ty, can we just say that, that was weird." I let my head fall against the cool window, allowing me to finally relax.

"It was a lot more than weird. That was creepy." He chuckled and I chuckled as well, feeling the mood lighten.

As we finish our laugh, we pull up at the hotel. It was a giant building with a large entry way. There was a long drop off area for people and a big window in the middle of the entry way.

We get out and Tyler grabs Felix, carrying him like a sack of potatoes. I grab the bags and put them on a cart, following Tyler and B inside.

"Welcome to the Holiday inn, are you all here for Playlist?" B nods and gives our names for our passes and hotel rooms.
