Don't" keep her waiting
It was a cloudy afternoon, I was walking Jenna back from my house after working on a project together. It's already spitting." She says as she crosses her arms over her chest, I take off my jacket and put it on her shoulders. She smiles and then grips onto the jacks sides to keep them close, we have been friends for quite a while now and I need to tell her how I feel it's killing me. we get up to her door and she thanks me then opens the door and walks inside before shutting it behind her, well I lost my chance again today. I quickly rush home before it starts pouring, I get a text from Jenna suddenly. "Whoops I still have you're jacket :P" I smirk "I'll come get it." "Max it's pouring outside!!!!" "Oh well." I respond as I rush to my front door, this is my chance, this has to be a reason to get me to her today to tell her how I feel. I grab a single rose from the bouquet on the dinning table and run to Jenna's house, I knock on the door and see her. hair in a bun, sweatshirt and track pants. I drop the rose and grab her hand and pull her towards me as I press my lips to her, me already being drenched and her starting to. In that moment it felt as if time was still, as our lips moved in sync. We both moved back and instantly she was blushing, I brush back the strands of her hair that came loose from the bun as she hugs me tightly before pulling me inside the house shutting the door behind us. "I haven't stopped thinking about you since I met you," I say and she smiles, "took ya long enough to tell me." She says before kissing me.
