It was a late fall night, you were walking me back home from the ice rink which was a half hour away. Me holding my ice skates by their laces as you grabbed yours and put it in your bag, "want me to hold those?" I nodded and handed them to you as you also shoved them in the bag. I crossed my arms over my chest which had a white knitted sweater covering my torso and being long enough to cover my knees and some of my ripped jeans, I push my auburn colored hair back and under the grey beanie you had lended me to keep my ears warm. I could see you walking silently beside me in the corner of my eye, grey long sleeved shirt not loose but not to tight, dark jeans and black and white sneakers. I look to your face and see you looking at me with your green blue eyes and I instantly blush and look away as I hear you lightly chuckle and slide your hand through your black hair. "Are you cold?" You asked me as I just shrugged my goose bump covered shoulders, you open your bag and pull out the sweater you were wearing while we were skatting and watched as you drapped it over my shoulders. I smile and mutter a thank you as you wrap one arm behind my back and rest your hand on my shoulder pulling me close, I lean my head on your shoulder the height difference being absolutely perfect, me being 5'5 and you being 5'9. As we walked up the sidewalk and onto my driveway I went to go pull out my keys when you grabbed my arm, you turned me to face you as you pointed to the sky where millions of snowflakes began to fall down. I smiled up at the sky as you placed your hand on my face and brought me to look at you eye to eye once again, slowly you moved a bit closer to me. One hand on my cheek the other holding my hand as you leaned in and brought your lips to mine, I slightly smile before we both move back. "I just, I wow." Was all I could mutter as you smirked, you looked me in the eyes for awhile as the snowflakes fell around us. The eye contact strong, showing the true emotions we were both holding inside, "I'll see you tomorrow," you said as you slowly walked backwards smiling at me before walking down the sidewalk. The next day I was at home sick laying in my bed coughing and updating my bbm status "sick (sweating face)" I sighed as I laid in bed for two hours before hearing a knock at the door, I cautiously went to the door and peered out and saw nothing but a box. I open my door and bend down to open the box, inside was different types of tea bags, tissues, chocolate and a little teddy bear holding a real rose. I see a little card and open it as it and up in the doorway, "I had a really fun night yesterday, I feel bad that your sick, hope this helps!" I smile knowing it was from you, when suddenly you came around the corner, I cover my face due to it being pale with red cheeks and my messy bun I had put my hair in. "Don't hide how beautiful you are ," you said and I smiled and blushed making my cheeks more red. "Why did you kiss me yesterday?" "Listen, I um, have liked you for a while and I guess, with the snow and everything it just felt like perfect timing." You said as you step closer, "are your parents home?" You asked and I shook my head, "they are at work," "well I think you need someone to take care of you," you said with a little smile as you kissed my forehead and brought the box inside. You let me lay down in my bed as you pulled the covers up and put the teddy bear in my arms, then put the rose and box of tissues on my night stand, "what tea do you want?" "Green teaaaa," I said and you smiled and said ok before kissing my cheek and going downstairs. Moments later you came back and I thank'd you as you laid down on top of the covers beside me, I turned on Netflix and we agreed on a random movie. But as the movie went on I passed out in your arms, I woke up later alone and went downstairs to see you in the kitchen getting yelled at by my parents. They were angry that you were there with me alone but were impressed by how much you cared, they gave you a stern warning and grounded me before you had to go. They asked me to walk you to the door so you could leave, "don't worry my dearest Juliet, this won't be the last time we see each other." You announced cutely before kissing my hand and leaving my house. The grounding, was totally worth it.
