Who Are You?
"Ok Hailey I'm leaving now," my mother said to me. She approaches me on the couch and kisses my cheek before walking to the door, "hand out the candy!" She says shutting the door and locking it, I stare at the images appearing on my TV screen. I hear my mom's car drive away and I quickly run to the door and grab the bowl of candy before rushing back to my seat to watch the rest of my horror movie marathon, so far I was on the movie "Deliver Us From Evil" I watch as the unconventional priest proceeded with exorcisms as I stuff my face with candy, shivers begin to crawl up my spine as I cover my head with a blanket then laughing at myself for being scared at this. Suddenly I hear a knock at the door and sigh, I forgot to turn off the porch light. I grab some of the candy that was left in the bowl and walk to the door, I unlock it and then open it to be hit with a big cold breeze. I open my eyes and look around to see no one was there, "geez I did'nt take that long." I shut the door, lock it and turn off the porch light as I head back to my living room. I sit on the couch and eat some more candy when I notice it got surprisingly cold in here, I look to my right and see the glass back door open. I roll my eyes when I realize what's going on, my friend's know i'm not easy to scare but they try every Halloween. "Very funny guys," I say as I shut and lock the back door. "Sweetie, can you grab me a glass of water and bring it upstairs?" I hear my mom's voice? Hmm maybe she's home early and forgot her key's, "OK mom!" I yell up the stairs as I hear a bunch of banging coming from her room, I pour her some water as I get confused on what all the ruckus is about. I start walking down the hallway to her room when I hear someone frantically trying to come in the front door, I stop in my tracks when the person get's in panting. "Sweetie where are you!?" I hear coming from the front door. "Mom?! But I thought you were in your room?" I say kind of freaked out now, "honey quickly come into my room, someone has been following me!" She says and I start walking to her bedroom door, "Hailey no! It's a trap come on, I have the car running let's go" I make a quick decision and drop the glass of water as I run down the hallway and stairs and quickly turn the corner to the front door, "good choice." I hear a demonic voice as I look at the front door and see a black blur, it was running around me in circles making me dizzy, slowly I get light headed and pass out.
"Sweetie wake up," I hear my mom. I slowly open my eyes and notice that I'm laying on the couch, "what happened" I ask frantically as I sit up on the couch scared, "I don't know you tell me, I have been trying to get in contact with you for hours. I see you ate all the candy, again." My mom says and I sigh, "oh I'm sorry mom, I must've passed out." She nods her head and I get up and walk to my room. I scream, a pinching pain in my right shoulder. I fall to the ground in a pool of blood, flesh from my right shoulder missing, I look up and see that figure as my eyes shut.
