Ryu and Phantom were traveling to a great distance since that fight in the Dragon Relam. Ryu was beaming with pride that he has been instrumental in forming one of the most formidable warrior who have ever walked on this Earth. He was concealing his laughter,but utterly failed in doing so and it soon became a full grown laughter. Lady Chivoka and Lady Makashi both got his hint and they began to laugh too. Seeing this commotion, Phantom was disturbed in his inner peace.
"What's so funny my Lord that not only you but also both empress are laughing. Care to tell me the reason?", Phantom asked politely.
"Is it a threat , my lad? ", jocked Ryu as again all three of them were in a fit of laughter. This was surely disturbing him.
"Lady Chivoka, can you please let me know, what's so much funny,that you can't surpress your laughter?", Asked Phantom while a little bit irritated.
"It's nothing Phantom. We were just wondering whether you've reached the zenith of love or not. I'm on the opinion that you haven't been able to reach that point, because of your noble intentions. You couldn't do wrong to any soul,let alone a girl. But my sister and Ryu,were laughing at me saying that you were a stud once upon a time. Please let everyone know the truth ,my dear Phantom. I'm getting restless already", Chivoka replied in a voice that sounded cute actually.
Seeing his new companions who have become his best friends, made the way for the smile to come upon his face. His eyes have become dark black with golden orbs in a slitted pattern. His eyes resembled that of an ancient dragon only the black colour was very much darker, it was because of the fact,him being the shadow fighter,best in the whole shadow realm.
Phantom suddenly summoned all three of his friends in his mind realm . Meanwhile,Ryu has changed himself in overcoat which Phantom was wearing proudly. He broke the ice .
"Lady Chivoka had told what mischief both of you have be doing all along this way and now I'm going to unveil the truth. I haven't done that. No I'm still pure as ever. Not because I didn't have any chances,but because of the fact that I couldn't do wrong to any girl. I'm not that type", speaking on the last words, Phantom's throat got heavy as memories buried deep within him resurfaced again.
The melancholy mood of Phantom didn't get unnoticed by all of them. Ryu, at an instant, recognised the memory as he felt ashamed of what he had done. He didn't want to rub his old sounds but unintentionally all three of them had done the same thing . A pang of grief stuck him and both Chivoka and Makashi got the whole thing too. All three of them were becoming depressed,when Phantom's voice broke their thoughts.
"There's nothing to worry about things that we can't change. Let's get to the main point. What's the main motive for us coming up here,in all the places? This place is starting to give me creeps. What's up with this place? Care to tell me please My Lord and My Ladies what's the reason?", asked Phantom with a tint of seriousness in his eyes.
"Hmm, this is the place, that people call as the Land of the Undead. This is the place where all the magical powers of all the entities whether, Gods, Titans, Devils, Evils, Vampires, Mages, Sorcerers or any other mythological creatures including dragons, gargoyles, chimeras all are just without magic here. Only the one who has the willpower and pure courage has the edge here. You've to get the Crimson Amulet, the same amulet the Lord of the Undead,wears in his neck. It has the power to nullify any magical attack. Means that, the bearer of that amulet is immune to any magical attack. You've to get it at your own though. Our powers will be render useless in this land. So you're on your own", Ryu being the wisest of all explained everything to Phantom.
" Well then,it's decided. I'll rely more my physical attacks and my art of swordsmanship. It's one of those things in which I've mastery over. No worries, Phantom will take care of everything from here on", Phantom assured all of them with his sheer will and strength.
With this ,Ryu changed himself into the trenchcoat, and Chivoka and Makashi both transformed into swords.
