Chapter 18: Defeat
Emma's P.O.V
Killian and I awoke to the sound of sobbing. It turned out Annabelle had come to wake us because it was time to plan for what we hoped would be out final stand against Elsa and she'd seen the two of us sleeping together.
"Annabelle? Oh, sweetheart," I said, getting out of bed and enveloping her in a hug. "No, it's okay... You two are so happy, and I'm so sad I never got to see it," she sighed hugging me back.
Killian walked over to us and wrapped us both in his arms. I could tell that everyone in the living room was watching by the "aww" s I heard, but in that moment, I didn't care. I was enjoying this moment with my little (yeah right) family, and I wasn't going to let the other parts of my family ruin it.
After a time, Annabelle pulled away from Killian and I. "Come on, we need to figure something out," she said. The two of us nodded, and followed her into the living room with everyone else.
My mother had tears in her eyes, and Regina looked like she was crying too. Neal had a big smile on his face, along with Belle and my father. Robin and Rumple were also smiling slightly at the three of us.
"Okay, so any ideas?" I asked, taking a seat on the only free couch in the room. My parents has moved the couch from their bedroom into the living room so there were four couches in the living room, one that each couple claimed.
Robin and Regina sat on a dark red couch. Roland was spending the night with his mother, Marian, who'd been keeping a low profile since she found out about Robin and Regina, but she was understanding of the circumstances and was okay with them being together.
Belle, Rumple and Neal sat together on a beige couch, my parents sat on the brown one from their room, my mom holding the baby, and Killian and I had sat down beside Henry and Annabelle on the other red couch.
If we weren't about to plot the death of the ice queen, this could be a nice, peaceful moment of happiness and relief that we could all be in the same room without trying to kill each other for once.
But of course, we needed to come up with a plan. "Actually, no. We were hoping you'd have one, saviour," Regina said. "Well, of you haven't noticed, I'm not doing much saving lately. I was moping around for a week when Killian disappeared and then I was dead for a few days..." I sighed.
"Doesn't mean you're not usually the one to come up with the plans..." Regina replied. "Wait, what? I am not!" I defended.
"Okay, let's not argue about this... We don't want any accidental deaths tonight," Killian pulled my shoulder gently. I nodded and looked at Rumple. "What?" He demanded.
"Ideas?" I said, hopeful. "I'm too busy feeling useless," he muttered. I rolled my eyes. "Yeah, I know the feeling," I sighed. "Look, guys, I get it. We all need to schedule sessions with Archie when this is over, but for now, can we try to make sure we all live that long, please?" Neal asked.
I raised an eyebrow at him. "Fine..." Rumple grumbled. "So I was thinking we have the magic users here team up and see if light magic is the answer, like it was with Zelena. I mean, light magic seems to be the undoing of evil. It partially was with Regina, it was with her sister, the light magic that enveloped me before I killed my father the second time was both of our undoing..." Rumple trailed off, looking at Regina and I expectantly.
"So, Regina and I team up and try to overpower her?" I ask. "Unless the pirate can use magic..." Rumple said sarcastically. "He can't, but his daughter can," Annabelle piped in. Rumple looked suspiciously at Annabelle for a moment, before smiling.
