"Dear Patton Sanders, we've been way too out of touch. Things have been crazy and it sucks that we don't talk that much. But I should tell you that I think of you each night. I rub my nipples and start moaning with delight."

"Why would you write that?" Patton exclaimed, hitting Roman around the back of his head. He knew Y/N, and he couldn't read that paragraph without hearing his voice.

"I'm just trying to tell the truth." Roman said with a thin smirk and he rubbed the back of his head where Patton had just smacked.

"This needs to be perfect. These emails have to prove that we were actually friends. Just- I'll do it." Patton took the laptop out of Roman's lap and placed it onto his own.

"I've gotta tell you, life without you has been hard-"

"Hard?" Roman raised an eyebrow.

"Has been bad-" Patton typed quickly, ignoring Roman who read over his shoulder.

"Bad?"

"Has been rough!"

"Kinky!" Roman smirked at Patton as said other man's cheeks heated up slightly.

"And I miss talking about life and other stuff."

"Very specific."

"Shut up!" Patton groaned, before typing again.

"I like my parents-"

"Who says that?" Roman questioned, genuinely amused by the phrasing.

"I love my parents, but each day's another fight. If I stop smoking drugs then everything might be alright." Y/N's voice continued to echo around Patton's head, he shouldn't be writing these. Maybe if he got Roman to write them, he wouldn't have to be tortured by the voice of Y/N.

"Smoking drugs?" Roman asked hesitantly.

"Just fix it!"

"If I stop smoking crack-"

"Crack?!" Patton exclaimed loudly before falling quiet under Roman's gaze.

"If I stop smoking pot, then everything might be alright. I'll take your advice, I'll try to be more nice. I'll turn it around, wait and see!"

Before Patton's eyes, the shape of Y/N appeared. Illusion or not, he savoured the moment. "Cause all that it takes is a little reinvention. It's easy to change if you give it your attention. All you gotta do is just believe you can be who you want to be. Sincerely, Me." With that, the darkly dressed male disappeared, as if he'd never been there (Which of course, he hadn't.)

"Are we done yet?"

"Well I can't just give them one email. I want to show that I was, like, a good friend, you know?" Patton answered, grabbing the laptop again as he prepared to write another email.

"Oh my god." Roman laughed in disbelief at his friend.

"Dear Y/N L/N, yes, I also miss our talks. Stop doing drugs, just try to take deep breaths and go on walks."

"No." Came Roman's voice from next to him. This was Patton's email, he didn't need Roman's input for this part; he continued to type.

"I'm sending pictures of the most amazing trees."

"No!" Roman disagreed again, louder this time.

"You'll be obsessed with all my forest expertise."

"Absolutely not." Roman said, disagreeing once more. This earned the small annoyed gaze of Patton, peering at him through his black framed glasses.

"Dude, I'm proud of you. Just keep pushing through. You're turning around, I can see."

"Just wait and see!" Patton typed quickly before rewriting the lines he had given to Y/N before, but this time he sent them from his own email as well.

"Cause all that it takes is a little reinvention. It's easy to change if you give it your attention. All you gotta do is just believe you can be who you want to be. Sincerely, Me."

Roman reaches across and hurriedly wrote an extra line onto an email from 'Y/N', "My sister's hot."

"What the hell!" Patton shouted, deleting Roman's personal statement.

"My bad." Roman snickered as he laid back and watched his friend type away at making more emails.

"Dear Patton Sanders, thanks for every note you send." The rare sight of Y/N's smile flashed before Patton's eyes.

"Dear Y/N L/N, I'm just glad to be your friend."

"Our friendship goes beyond, your average kind of bond."

"But not because we're gay." Patton rolled his eyes as he clarified this, how many more lies would he have to tell?

"No, not because we're gay." The image of Y/N's smile slid into a sad frown like picture, paining Patton's heart.

"We're close, but not that way. The only man that I love is my dad."

"Well anyway!"

"You're getting better every day." Patton hesitantly sent the faked praise, he was getting more and more uneasy at the fact that he was writing these.

"I'm getting better every day."

"Keep getting better every day!"

"Hey hey hey hey! 'Cause all that it takes is a little reinvention. It's easy to change if you give it your attention. All you gotta do is just believe you can be who you want to be. Sincerely."

Patton swiftly added a more heartfelt sentence from the both email accounts to each other, "Miss you dearly."

"Sincerely, Me. Sincerely, Me. Sincerely, Me. Sincerely, Me!"

"You were definitely gay." Roman whispered under his breath.

"Maybe we were."
