"Hiya kiddos!" Patton chirped, entering the living room where Roman, Virgil and Logan were gathered.

"Still not your son." All three responded.

Logan, per usual, was sat in his armchair with his favourite book. His glasses resting on his nose, eyes only flickering off the page for a second to look at Patton.

Virgil was laying upside down off the couch, his feet going over the top of it. He scrolled lazily through his phone, occasionally smirking slightly at something that amused him.

Roman was sat on a beanbag on the floor, staring intently at the Disney film playing on the screen. He reached for the bowl of popcorn he had made, throwing a piece in the air and catching it on his mouth.

"Pshhhhh, nonsense." Patton giggled, "But but but but! I have a secret I'm not supposed to tell anyone but you all know I can't keep secrets and I really wanna tell you all!" He took in a deep breath, having said the sentence all in one.

Virgil arched an eyebrow at him, "Go on." He was only mildly interested, but it seemed better than scrolling through MySpace.

A wide grin crept onto Patton's face, "Welllllllllll, DeceithasacrushonY/N!" He said quickly.

Roman paused the film and turned to look at him, "Slow that down, Pat."

"Indeed. That was said too fast for the words to be processed into information." Logan added, pushing his glasses up the bridge of his nose and placing a book mark in his book.

Patton nodded gently, "Deceit. Has. A. Crush. On. Y/N."

Virgil dropped his phone on his face, muttering a few curse words as he pulled himself to sit upright on the sofa. He held his nose as he looked at Patton with a shocked face.

Roman choked on the popcorn he had chucked on the air and caught as Patton delivered the news, coughing and spluttering before giving Patton the same look Virgil was.

Logan blinked in surprise but maintained his calm collectiveness, "Well then..."

"I know right? And, and and and, get this... Y/N likes him toooooooo!" Patton cheered quietly, "Now, we need to get them together! Like, right now!"

Roman, having finally cleared his throat, gave Patton a wary look, "Patton, are... Are you sure about this?"

"Yeah. I mean, it's Y/N. And... It's Deceit." Virgil muttered, not very happy with Patton's idea.

"I too have my doubts about this. Patton, are you sure that this is idea of Deceit and Y/N harbouring feelings for each other is reality and not some fictional ideal you created?" Logan asked, knowing all too well that Patton might have misinterpreted any signals.

"Yeppers. They both told me themselves." Patton smiled, "Deceit told me in private and so did Y/N. Come to think of it, they both went off together afterwards."

"They what?!"

///MEANWHILE///

"Y/N, don't be quiet. They won't find us." Deceit whispered, leading Y/N through the twists and turns of The Subconscious. His yellow gloved hand gripped Y/N's hand loosely as he tugged slightly.

Y/N simply chuckled in response, "S-Sorry!" He whispered, "It's just when you're all secretive, it's really funny to me."

Deceit rolled his eyes, but let a small smile come to his face. He led them to a wooden door with a brass handle, "Don't open it and don't go inside."

Y/N nodded, pulling down the door handle and pushing the door forward. He stepped inside and looked around.

It was a small inclosed area, surrounded by different types of flowers and bushes. Peeking through said bushes, were little lights that faded on and off. In the centre of the greenery, a red and white blanket sat with a basket on top.

"Sssssssurpirse." Deceit mumbled in Y/N's ear, "I hope you hate it."

"I love it." Y/N smiled, retaking Deceit's hand, "You did all this... For me?"

Deceit went to shake his head, but caught himself last second to nod gently, "I did. And I didn't- I wanted to ask you something."

Y/N gently pulled him to the blanket and took a seat, "Oh? What was it you wanted to ask?"

Deceit was nervous. Scratch that, he was terrified. What if Y/N turned him down? He wouldn't be surprised with all that he had put the other sides through. But he said yes to coming here with him. To being alone with him.

"Would you... I mean. Y/N, I disli-dis-dissss." Due to his nervousness, Deceit was unable to form the sentence he wanted without lying about it.

"Hey, it's okay. If lying is easier for you, just do it." Y/N shrugged lightly, giving Deceit an encouraging smile.

Deceit shook his head and took a deep breath before starting again, "Y/N, I dislike you. I absolutely despise being with you. You are the most hideous person I have ever met, inside and out. I hate the way you smile, and the way that ruins my whole day. Y/N, what I didn't want to ask was, would you want to be my boyfriend?"

A moment of silence passed as Y/N roughly translated what Deceit's speech was meant to be, "Y-You think I'm beautiful?" He blushed a dark crimson.

Deceit shook his head, "Absolutely hideous."

Y/N laughed lightly, launching himself forwards to hug Deceit tight, "Yes, a million times yes. I mean, no."

Deceit put his arms around Y/N and hugged him back, he chuckled lightly, "I'll try harder to stop lying. For you."

"You don't have to do that. I know what you mean." Y/N mumbled, hesitating before softly whispering, "I hate you."

"I hate you too."
