"Get your paper here! $2.50 for your daily dose of gossip! Read our headline! Stoic businessman Logan Croft pictured with mystery man!" The salesman behind the newsstand yelled out to the bustling crowds, waving one paper in the air.

Suddenly, a two dollar bill and a fifty cents coin was slid onto the desk. A man, oversized black hoodie covering most of him, stared at the counter.

"I'll take one."

"Ah, I see. You must be a man intrigued by the gossip in the higher ranks." The man over the counter said with a sly grin, "My inside sources say that it's been proven that it wasn't Mr Croft's husband either. That poor sod eh? I met him once, y'know? Y/N Croft, strapping young lad."

The salesman handed over the paper, folding it before hand. The buyer nodded his thanks, "You met him, eh?"

"Yeah, down in Queens a few years back. Before he got mixed up in the Croft family. Say, come to think of it, you remind me a little of him. Similar voice. Considering we hear him on the news all the time next to Logan's side."

The man with the newspaper laughed lightly, finally looking up. Y/N Croft stared straight at the man, moving a hand to gently move his H/C hair out of his face.

"It's nice to see you again. And just for the record, it definitely wasn't me with him."

And with that, Y/N walked away with his paper in hand. Behind him, he left the gobsmacked newsstand manager.

After a while of pushing through the cramped city streets, Y/N eventually found himself a quiet bench to sit down and read this week's article on his husband. There wasn't a week or even a day that went passed without Y/N seeing either his or Logan's face in the paper. That was the price that came with being married to one of, if not the, most successful businessmen in New York.

The E/C eyed male scanned the article, but came up with the same old information. Logan Croft, yada yada yada, his husband Y/N Croft, yada yada yada. That was until he finally saw the picture that everyone in America had been discussing. The one of his husband seen walking into one of his many homes, arm around the waist of some other guy. Logan had tried to keep this photo from Y/N, which just made him more mad than he would've been.

But who was that other man? Well, that was the question on the rest of America's lips too. Who was this guy photographed with Mr Croft? Where was the other Mr Croft at the time? And that, would soon be answered in one single interview. A single interview, arranged and aired by none other than Croft Inc.

///TIME SKIP TO INTERVIEW///

"Ladies and gentleman, welcome back to The Mindscape with your host, Roman Prince." Said host flashed a grin at the camera as the live audience applauded.

"Today, we have a few special guests. Following the biggest scandal to hit the tabloids this year, tonight I want you to welcome our guests! Give a hand to Logan and Y/N Croft!"

Y/N walked in, arm and arm with his husband. He really didn't want to do this interview, but Logan has been persistent about correcting rumours. Plus, the original reporter of the article sat in a chair opposite where the couple would, a small smirk on his face.

The two Crofts sat down on the sofa, staring at Roman who sat behind a desk in the centre of the studio. He turned to them then back to the reporter before looking to the audience, "Yeesh, I could cut the tension with a sword."

A small chuckle came from the audience as both of the Crofts gave half smiles and the reporter just leaned back in his seat.

"Well, Anyway, tonight we're going to start with the lovely Y/N Croft. Now, tell us, where were you on the afternoon of the 23rd of July?"

Y/N blinked in surprise, "The 23rd of July?" He turned his head to give a subtle glare at Logan, "I was at the wedding anniversary of our two closest friends."

"And I'm assuming your husband did not attend?" Roman asked, leaning forward on his desk.

"No, I was told through his assistant that he had some last minute meetings to attend. Paperwork to sort and such."

A quiet 'Oooh' came from the audience, sympathising with Y/N. They returned to their awaiting silence to hear the rest of the interview.

"And who are these friends? If you don't mind me asking?" Roman stared straight at Y/N, ignoring the displeased look on his husband's face.

"I believe you'll know of them. Remy and Emile Picani-Star. You know, the designer and the therapist." Y/N said casually, as the audience broke their silence to whisper about the topic.

"I see. Now," Roman turned to the reporter, "I do believe, you captured multiple photographs on different occasions of Mr Croft. Is that right?"

The reporter nodded, "That's right. Starting with the 23rd July, ending 17th November." He stared over at Logan, "And I know exactly who's in the pictures with him."

Y/N heard Logan swallow nervously, and for the first time since seeing the (What he thought was only) photograph; he thought that Logan had actually cheated on him.

"Ah, I see. May we see the first photograph?"

The reporter nodded as he carefully pulled a packet of photos from his pocket, "Here you go," he took one out, "July 23rd." He handed it to Roman.

Roman looked at it before showing it out to the audience, "I believe we all know this one. May I ask who's in this picture?"

Before the reporter could answer, Logan interrupted, "Patton Foster."

Logan spoke in a calm voice, as if he didn't see the relevance of the name, "Patton Foster is the one you have pictured with me. He and I... All claims against me are true." He said simply.

A loud gasp came from various audiences members as Logan admitted to what he had been accused. Next to Logan, Y/N turned to him with a heartbroken expression.

"I will not attempt to build a facade of innocence, my guilt is true. And before you even attempt to manipulate the situation, the other pictures will be of Dimitri Lyre, Virgil Salem and Remus Prince."

Roman seemed caught off guard by the mention of his brother, but quickly hid it with a cough, "Now, Y/N, you've just heard it straight from the horse's mouth. How do you feel?"

Y/N didn't answer right away. He just sat there, staring at the floor in silence. But there was no way he'd cry on live television, "No comment." He muttered before walking off.
