Zachs POV

Chris met me out side with a half way finished twelve pack of beer.
"Are you gonna drink that whole pack?" I question, after taking a puff from my cigar.
"It's only six, and unless you want any, I'll just drink them all."
He said as he cracked one open.
Chris doesn't handle alcohol very well AT ALL, after two drinks, his words slur.
I didn't want him to hurt himself or anyone else, so I told him that we would split them.
He passed me one and we started drinking.
I hadn't drank in so long, I almost forgot what it tasted like, I already finished my three, while Chris was almost done with his first one.
When he finished, he said that he couldn't drink anymore, and offered me the last two beers.
I didn't even think about what it would do to me, and I drank the last two beers.

Chris's POV

Once we began talking again, I noticed that he became very annoyed with me.
"What's your problem?" I asked in a mean tone.
"My problem? What problem!" he said, standing up from his chair.
I stood up as well, as an attempt to intimidate him.
We argued for a few more minutes before Sunny came outside rubbing her eyes.
"What's happening?" she questioned tiredly.
"Nothing Sunny, just go back insi-" I managed to get out, before Zach interupting me and saying, "Go get your backpack, we're leaving."
Sunny just stood there in confusion for a few seconds before Zach lashed out and yelled, "Now!"
She ran back inside and searched for the bag.
"What the fuck Zach? Where are you even going to go, you can't drive,  you're drunk!"
I said with all seriousness.
"I'm so sick and tired of you telling me what to do, I'll drive where ever the fuck I want!"
He said with anger in his eyes.
Sunny then came out with her bookbag on.
"C'mon Sunny, get in the car!" he demanded.
I scooped her up and said, "She's not getting in the car with you. YOU'RE DRUNK."
This made him angry.
He turned around and snatched her from my hands.
He ran into his car, throwing Sunny into the front seat.
"CHRIS!" she squealed before driving off.
I quickly jumped into my car and chased after him.
It was hard to follow him because it was almost one in the morning and he was swerving everywhere.

Zachs POV

Chris was right behind me and I could only think of one way to get rid of him, so I slammed on breaks, making me hit my head on the steering wheel, I looked over to see that Sunny had flew forward, hitting her head on the glove box and then lying on the floor unconscious.
Not but seconds later, Chris's car slammed into my bumper, making her slide in the floor.

Chris's POV

After my airbag deployed, hitting my face, I struggle out of my car and I run up to Zachs passenger side of the car to make sure Sunny is okay.
I open up the door to find her lying on the floorboard.
I try to pick her up but she is limp.
I still feel her heart beat but she's not responding to anything.
"Zach! Are you okay!?" I shout, almost crying.
He lifts his head off of the steering wheel and says, "Is Sunny okay...?"
I pick up Sunny and answer, "I don't know, but I'm bringing you home."
Zach doesn't move at first, but then slowly makes his way to the backseat of my car, where he lays down.
I know it's illegal, but I lay back the passenger seat so Sunny can lay down as well.
I then carefully drive to Zachs house.
When we reach Zachs house, I wake him up and walk him to his doorstep.
"Where's Sunny?" he asked.
"I'm bringing her back to Stampers house with me, just to make sure she stays safe."
He looks back at my wrecked car, and then says, "Thanks..." before walking inside.
I walk back to my car and move Sunny to the backseat. After buckling her in I check her heart beat and it's still there, but she is slow.
I then drive back to Stampers house.
I turn around and look at her laying there, hoping that she's not dead.
It brought tears to my eyes, so I picked her up and carried her inside.
I laid her down on the couch and then went to go kick my shoes off.
I came back and laid next to her on the couch.
It was about three o'clock when I finally started drifting off to sleep.
I felt her jolt awake, and then scream.
I jumped up to see what was happening.
She clinged to me and started crying.
"Where's Zach!" she exclaimed.
"It's okay, he just went home early!"
I reassured.
Stamper and Cory then came running down the stairs.
"What happened!" Stamper yelled.
Sunny was still clinged to me and sobbing.
"Umm, stay here, I'll be right back." I tell Sunny. She did as told and sat on the couch while I walked into the kitchen with Cory and Stamper.

"Zach was drunk and tried to drive Sunny home, so I drove after them. But I accidentally rammed into the back of his car. when I got out to grab Sunny, she was unconcious and Zach had just hit his head on his steering wheel. So I took Zach back home and then kept Sunny here with me. she was asleep until just now, she thinks that it was just a nightmare and Zach went home early, and I suggest we keep it that way for now."

I said quietly, making sure that she doesn't hear.

They both stood there in silence.

"Shit...should one of us go stay with Zach? I'll go if no one wants too." Cory suggested

We all agreed that Cory would go stay with Zach for the night while me and Stamper stay here with Sunny.

When Cory left we all sat with Sunny in the living room.

"Where is Cory going?" She asked.

"He's going home early too." Stamper lied.

She wiped the last tear off of her face and said, "Oh..."
