Chapter 5

****Mia's POV****

Alexa and I got out to my car and I put my stuff in my passenger seat.."are you ok?" Alexa asked worried looking. "I don't know, and I don't even know what to say or think right now..and I hope it's not awkward here at cheer practice now because of Nicole and her little incident back in the gym." I looked over at the door to see Noah and Nicole walking out the door with the other girls. Noah looked our way with this sad expression but Nicole just Jerked him the other direction, and they took off.

"Well it's been a day Alexa, and I'm ready to go home." "Alright girl I'll see you tomorrow." She smiled. We hugged and I headed back to the house.

I got into the house to be greeted by my dad who had dinner cooking on the stove.

"Hey Hunny" he hugged me and smiled. "Hey dad."

"How was your day today? And how do you think you did on your biology exam?"

"I think I did good, and today was rather interesting." I sorta laughed.

"Well good, hey dinners almost ready." He smiled and I followed him into the dining room and finished setting the table. He made me my favorite dinner grilled chicken tacos, and after the day I had I was so ready for them. We had dinner and I headed up to my room. I changed into a PINK light green long sleeve shirt that was a crop top and dark blue jean shorts and my PINK slides.

I got my MacBook and went out and sat on my balcony. The one thing I would hate leaving this house if I go off to college somewhere is having to leave my balcony and my own bathroom. I loved sitting out here at night when it's warm and watching the sunset and enjoying the vibe.

I opened up to click-stars to see if anything had been going on. Nothing too much,so I just closed my computer and went back into my room.

I think I'll take a walk down to Kuhio beach..it's nice literally being in walking distance especially when I wanna enjoy the air.

I walked downstairs and let my dad know where I was going. I headed down to the beach and was there less than five minutes. I took my slides off and walked towards the water and sat about 5 feet away from the water. I felt the wind blow through my hair and the seagulls flying around and just closed my eyes.

It was my mom's favorite time of day and she loved bringing me here when the weather was nice, it helped me get through days when depression hit me hard, that's one thing a lot of people don't know about me is that I struggle with depression and it got worse when my mom died, so when I would have problems/harder days we came here as a celebration of making it through another day.

"Mia?" I heard a guys voice say and I jumped out of my peaceful moment and looked to see Noah with his shirt off in his swim trunks and a volley-ball in his hands. "Good Lord he's so fine." I thought to myself.

"Umm Noah?" I stood up sliding my PINK slides on. He turned towards where this volley-ball net had been and said "hey guys continue without me." He threw the ball towards them and started getting closer to me. "Umm hey I gotta go—" I said taking off the opposite direction.

"Woah woah woah." He took my arm gently and spun me around where we was making direct eye contact.

"Noah I've been warned to not speak to you outside of cheer practice."

"Mia, I honestly do not even care what Nicole has to say, and regardless if that Note was true or not, I'm not offended and just talking to you today, I know you are not like other girls to steal a guy from someone else."

"Yeah." I responded short and sweet.

"So I do have to ask, is it true...Do you really feel like, love me?" He asks serious but so kind.

(Well shit..do I tell him now, what the hell do I do?) I thought to myself

"Noah. (I took a deep breath) I —"

(One of Noah's friends interrupts and yells) - "Hey dude you coming back or not?" He turns back to him and says "yeah dude just a second." He looks back to me and says

"You was saying?"

I took out of my phone and seen it was 8:30,

"Oh I'm sorry I gotta head back home, I gotta get something's ready for school tomorrow." I said nervously but trying to get out of this situation.

He sorta just kinda looked at me when not a sad look but a plain grin.."Ok Mia." He smiled though and pulled me into a hug. When my face hit his chest, I could feel the warms of his chest from the sun setting, and his perfect abs. I hugged him back and we let go.

"I'll see you at school tomorrow." He smiled and headed back to his Volleyball game.

I walked home and got back into my room and pulled out my MacBook and opened click-stars and posted a status "Today was interesting, but ended amazing on the beach. :)" I hit "update status" and closed my MacBook, for my stuff ready for the next day and went to sleep.

****Noah's POV****

We finished our game and I walked back to my house, I walked in and was greeted by my mom Eva. "Hey Hunny How was your game?" She smiled

"Good, and I ran into Mia down there as well."

"Oh Mia? Mia Tanner?" She smiled.

"Yeah, it's been an interesting day to be said the least." I scratched my head.

"Well Hunny, She's a nice girl, and you know."

She actually lives like a half block from us?"

"Are you serious?" I dropped my hand.

"Yeah, she lives over on cherry st."

"Wow, I guess you really do learn something new everyday." I chuckled.

"Well mom, I'm going to head upstairs and get stuff ready for tomorrow."

"Alright Hunny." She smiled.

You know it's kinda interesting how Mia and I are alike, except my dad left when I was 5. He didn't want anything to do with my mom or I, he decided to start another family with another woman and I've not seen him since. 

I headed upstairs to my room and got some clothes ready to take a shower. I looked in the mirror as my shower water was getting warm and thought to myself

"I really wonder if that note is true..I gotta find out."

I took my shower and opened up to click-stars and seen Mia's post "Today was interesting, but ended amazing on the beach. :)"

I smiled to myself, she's so sweet. I "love" reacted to it and closed my MacBook and went to sleep.
