Chapter 27

(((Wednesday)))

****Mia's POV****

I woke up and got my shower and ready for school. I was a-little nervous about everything today. I looked at my backpack, it hadn't left the place I put it last before I almost died. I picked it up off the ground and looked through it.
"Well I take that back because my razor blades are gone and it's been cleaned up in here."
I thought to myself

I headed downstairs with my backpack and my dad greeted me making breakfast.

"Are you hungry Hunny?" He smiled

"No I'm too nervous I'm not going to lie." I responded

"It'll be ok and you know Noah, Darin, Stephen, Alexa, and of course your uncle and I are here for you."
He smiled

"Don't forget Alex." I smiled

"Well duh." He laughed

The doorbell rang and I headed over to the door and opened it to see Noah standing their smiling.

"You look so beautiful." He said as we leaned into hug.

"Thanks babe" l kissed him on his cheek as we pulled away from one another

Noah followed me inside the house and we walked into the kitchen where my dad greeted us

"Noah nice to see you this morning." My dad smiled

"You too Mr.Tanner." Noah smiled

"Please just call me Michael." My dad smiled

"Ok Michael." Noah smiled

"So are you ready to head to school?" I ask Noah.

"Yeah if you are." Noah responded

"Mia Jack works tonight later than expected and I don't get off work til 6. So will you be ok here alone?" My dad asks

I went to speak and Noah speaks up and says
"I don't mind to hangout here until you get home."

"Babe you don't have too." I said

"No I want too, and we can work on homework." He smiled

"That sounds like a plan." My dad smiled

"Ok well we probably should get going."
I smiled to Noah

We headed out the door to head to his red Jeep and I got in the passenger seat and buckled in. I all of a sudden just got really nervous.

Noah began to drive and all these thoughts and flashbacks began to go through my head. I got lost in my train of thought and I guess I must have really been out of it for a minute because the next thing I know is Noah shakes me some and I jump

"You ok Mia?" He asks concerned

He was pulling into a parking spot in the school parking lot. Everyone was outside talking with their friends acting all normal.

"Yeah." I smiled

We both got out of his Jeep and I stood by his Jeep and he come around and took my hand we walked towards the school, I took a deep breath and just embraced going back to normal, it was going to be ok. I was going to be ok. Alexa run up to me with Darin and Stephen, I'm so glad my best friend is back. We both hugged and it felt good.

"Come on We got something to
Show you." She took my hand and dragged Noah and I into the school

She took us to my locker and it had been decorated really cute

"Welcome back Mia!"
It read with all sorts of flowers and decorations.

"Awww, did you know about this?" I looked at Noah
