I'd like to think that summer break should be during winter. I mean, who really wants to go outside when it's 90 degrees? No one. Sure tubing and swimming is fun, but don't we have indoor pools for that? Honestly, I really wish my 3 months off was during the winter. I mean I can escape the cold with a coat, but I can't escape the heat unless I stay inside.

That's the first thing I think when I wake up next to Tobias. His arms are wrapped around me and sleeping, I feel warmth. It's cold outside, too cold for my liking. As much as I hate to admit it, I like his arms. I used to think that all the Alphas should be bulging with muscles and workout all the time, but now, I feel differently. His muscles are sculpted enough to pack a punch, yet long and stretched out. I run my fingers along his forearm softly. My wolf purrs and I silence her. I drift up to his chest which is also not overly bulky, but lean and sculpted. For some reason I like it, I like it that he's not overbearing or super possessive.

I like it that he's not weak but not shear power.

I finally gaze upon his face, which is just breath taking. Chiseled cheek bones and the perfect jawline and nose make him seem very regal. His eye lashes are long, and I want to reach up and touch them. His hair is gorgeous too, messy and cool with his lovely black hair.

I sigh and slip out of bed. I slide on my shoes and start to walk out the bed.

Things are moving too fast, normally I wouldn't say that seeing I've moved way too fast before, but this is different. This is Tobias. I feel myself weakening and wanting to be with him more and more. What's wrong with me ? I shake my head and slip out the door my car is there and I slide inside.

Someone put full gas in it, huh.

It probably was Tobias. Because that is who Tobias is, Tobias is nice.

I shake my head, I hate feeling like I have no control over my emotions. I hate feeling like he's my mate...

I roll my eyes. Sometimes being a werewolf girl sucks the heck out of everything. I mean, just think about our time of month.

Werewolf chic not too happy, to put it lightly. I turn my car on and drive away. It's a foggy and dreary day, with the sky portraying it's sadness. Why Is it sad?

Maybe it got stuck with an unwanted mate.

I silence my wolf and continue to drive until I stop at my friend, Jupiter's, apartment. She's a human and she's pretty amazing. I un buckle and knock on her door. I hear clattering inside of the house and she swings it open.

Her red, spiraling curls tumble off her shoulders and onto her chest. Her bright green eyes smile and her freckles lift up as she throws her arms around me and squeezes.

"Oh I missed you so much!" She squeals as my face turns purple. Jupiter is the daughter of two crazy artists, hence her name, hence her profession and insane apartment, and pretty much hence her. Her  apartment is actually pretty cute. She has a glass coffee table with light wooden legs. Her kitchen is in shreds but if It was ever clean it would like so gorgeous. She has wet newspapers and cupcakes everywhere. For what? I have no clue.

She finally let's go and gestures at my outfit, "I'm getting you some clothes. And then we are going to discuss why you look like you just slept with a boy," she pauses, narrowing her eyes, "I'm hoping I'm wrong." She spouts.

That's Jupiter for you, she's very moral and goodie two shoesish.  She flicks the light on in her room and I can hear her jumping over the mess. I turn my attention back to the kitchen. Woah.

Cupcakes on the ceiling, newspapers strung everywhere. It's chaos, complete and utter chaos. I shake my head and pick a cupcake, that hasn't been ruined, of off the keyboard in the living room and bite into it.

Before I spit it out all over her.

She holds my clothing in her hands, luckily I only got her face.

"What was that??!" I shriek dropping the once perfect cupcake to the floor.

She scowls, "it was a gluten-free, chocolate cupcake with almond butter frosting."

I blink.

"Well, something went wrong."

I grab the clothes and walk over to the bathroom as I hear a loud sigh from her.

"Oh you big baby!" I laugh as I hear her steps in the laundry room. She laughs back and I change into the jeans and white tshirt she's given me before I hear a loud banging.

"Where's Summer?"

Oh, it's Tobias.

I open my door and walk out to see him sweaty and panting. Then I look down to see Jupiter's bed In shreds.

"I need a hug so come over here," he demands opening his arms. 

I roll my eyes. "We were, Literally, together , body to body cuddling 20 minutes ago. I think you can do without a hu-"

His arms wrap around my waist and he lifts me up. My breath hitches a little bit and I freeze. I can feel his heart beat in sync with mine.

"Eh herm," I hear Jupiter.

Tobias snuggles his head into my collar bone and the crook of neck, smelling me.

"Tobias-"

"No."

"But-"

"No."

I sigh and give up. Hanging there on his chest with his arms around me.

"You're going to kill me,"I sigh, finally wrapping my arms around him.
