Mario drove to Giselle's house there was no traffic since it was 8pm. He took the last turn and parked his car in the parking lot. He walked up into the flats loby and took the elevator to her floor. He pressed the button and waited patiently till the ding sounded. He took a right and went to her door. He took out his keys and looked for her key. They both had each others keys in case of an emergency. He unlocked her door and walked into her living room. The lights where off which probably meant she wasn't home.

"Giselle?", Mario called out into the room. There was no answer. He forgot to grab Alexs bag where he always put his clothes. So he rummaged through the cabinets to find a plastic bag. He went into a cabinet and it was a medicine cabinet but there was lots of pain killers. They weren't off the counter pills either they where prescribed. He grabbed one and looked at the date. It was prescribed June 3rd. Which was before the world cup. But what where they for. He started to grab more and they started to get more recent. Mario started to wonder if she was a druggie or was she severely ill.

"What the hell are you doing?", Giselle came out of nowhere and saw Mario standing there holding her pills. She walked up to him and grabbed the pills and put them back into the cabinet. "You don't have a right to go through my things."

Mario grabbed her hand and looked at it. She had IV marks as if she was in the hospital.

"What is this?", Mario asked her directing his words to her marks.

"Nothing.", Giselle answered him. "What are you doing here?"

"I came to get some clothes for Alex but I forgot his bag so I was looking for a plastic bag.", Mario answered her.

She walked around him and bent down grabbing a roll of plastic bag and ripped one out. She handed it to him.

He took it from her and looked at her face closely. She was pale more than usual and she just looked so worn out. Like if a bus had run her over and she got right back up and was walking on the edge.

"Giselle, what's going on?", Mario asked and she started to bleed from her nose. Mario gestured to his nose.

Giselle touched her nose and she saw red on the tip of her fingers.

"Fuck.", Giselle muttered under her breath. She ran to her room and locked herself into her restroom.

Mario followed her to her room and started banging on the restroom door.

"Giselle open up! Tell me what's wrong maybe I can help you.", Mario said through the door. He noticed that there was a basket by the restroom it was all rags full of blood.

He put his focus back on her locked in the restroom.

"Giselle come on open up.", Mario said pleading whilst banging on the door.

"No", Giselle's voice breaking while talking. "No, no, you can't see me like this. I promised myself, not you, not Alex would see me like this. Just go home, I will be fine.", she basically said in choked sobs.

"I'm not going anywhere just open up.", Mario said taking a couple of steps back and slamming into the door breaking it open.

He saw her laying on the floor her back touching the tub. A towel was pressed to her nose it was seeping of blood. She was starting to form a puddle of blood on her lap onto the floor.

"Giselle..", Mario said looking around the bathroom grabbing another towel. He took the other one out of her hand and placed the new towel towards her nose.
She tried to speak but she choked on some of the blood.

"Go away..", she finally spoke out.

"Tell me what to do..you need someone Giselle..", Mario looked into her eyes they where bloodshot red. Mario took out his phone and dialed 115 for an ambulance.

"She's bleeding from her nose, there is so much blood, its gushing out of her nose!", Mario screaming to the operator out of panic. "The address, its,  Helene-Mayer, 80809, yes its the Olimpia Tower flats, the 10th floor.", Mario answered all the operators questions. "What do I do? I don't know what to do. She won't stop bleeding. There is blood everywhere, help me, help her! Her name is Giselle.", Mario started to scream at the operator. Mario set the phone and put it on speaker.

"Hello Giselle my name is Emily, I know you are in a haze right now but try and listen to me. How many times did this happen today? Squeeze Mario's hand the amount of times.", the operator said Giselle grabbed his hand and with little to no power squeezed his hand five times.

"Five times.", Mario said to her

"Okay Giselle, I'm guessing that the other times it was just small bleeding. It wasn't this bad. Squeeze his hand one time for no and two for yes.", She said to Giselle.

She slightly squeezed his hand two times.

"Its a yes."

"Okay now the ambulance team is telling me that they are on their way up to your floor. Everything is going to be fine Giselle, alright this is where I leave. Take care Giselle."

The line went dead and he picked up his phone and put it into his pocket. He scooped her up from the floor and led her to the living room. He set her down on the couch.

Mario went towards the door and opened it so that the people would know which one it was. He saw them and he quickly ushered them to her. Giselle could barley see anything, everything was getting foggy. Nothing was making sense to her. The only thing that made sense was that she couldn't hide it anymore. They would soon know.
