Process and progress work together as a team. Without one there isn't another in these kind of situations. Giselle was going through some tough steps, the bone marrow transplant would be a challenge for her. Going through Five steps in total.

The first her physical examination, how healthy she was. To say the least she wasn't at her best but who is when they are in her shoes. They scanned all her organs to check if they where in condition to go through with everything. If she failed this part then the bone marrow transplant would not happen.

She was laying on the bed where the CT scanner moves around your body. She had to lay perfectly still for fifteen minutes. The CT scan would show how her organs where, whether they where badly damaged or if they where in a good condition to go through with the procedures. When she passed that procedure she did a small biopsy the next day, they would have to remove a cancerous cell out of her body. So they could run the test in the lab and find out if the cancer cell would go into remission or if it could worsen once the procedure was done.

When she passed the first stage. She went on the the Second stage which was Harvesting. They would remove some of the blood from her body and separating stem cells from the other cells. Then returning it back to the body. They would be doing a Autologous transplantation which would be surgery. She would be using aesthetics, the procedure would be of low risk. But the pain she would feel after the needle being injected into her hip bone would be painful afterwards.

Giselle was lying on the hospital bed in pain not knowing what to do but lay there in pain, they couldn't give her anymore medicine because she was already wearing herself out with everything.

"Where is Mario?", Giselle asked Astrid, Mario's mother.

"He is on his way dear, just go to sleep.", Astrid said reaching over for hand and squeezing it.

"I want him to be the last thing I see before I go to sleep.", She said, letting that slip out. When she was on the medicine, she blurted out a lot of things. Most of them where sweet things about what her wishes where.

"You know, when you first came into my home. I thought, god not another waste of time.", she said looking up at the ceiling and then back to me. "But then when I got to know you and you gave me a grandson, I knew you where a real woman he would love forever.", She said holding on to her hand with more gentleness. "There will always be ups and downs in marriages but its the vows you take that determine whether you will stick to them for the right reasons."

"I never got to say thank you.", Giselle said grasping on to her hand tighter. "If I don't make it out of this in one piece, just make sure Mario doesn't destroy himself.", she said tears welling up in her eyes. "Make sure my baby grows up knowing I always loved him."

"Giselle, shush.", Astrid said. "You will make it out of this, just like you do with everything."

"That's all I ever want. To see my son grow up, watch him get married. Grow old with my grandchildren.", Giselle said smiling at the thought. "But there are some things that inevitable, things that you can only wish but can't have."

"But if you fight for it, I am sure it will happen.", Astrid said smiling at her, still holding her hand.

Giselle was about to say something when Mario knocked on the door and came in.

"I hope I'm not interrupting anything.", Mario said standing by his mother.

"No we where having girl talk. Shaving, wax, and lingerie.", Giselle said chuckling.

Mario looked at her and smirked.

"She is really drugged.", Astrid said letting go of Giselle's arm and standing up. "I'll see you two later.", she said, going over to Giselle and kissing her temple. "Don't forget what I said.", she whispered in her ear.

She left, kissing her son goodbye. Then exiting out the door. The sound of the door quietly shutting was the sound of them being left alone.

"I missed you.", Giselle said with her eyes closed. "I stayed up for you."

"You can sleep now.", Mario said smiling at her. She could sense him watching her.

"Sleep next to me.", she said scooting over a little bit.

The hospital bed was bigger than the other beds because she was in a private room. Where only certain people could visit her.

Mario took off his jacket and Shoes leaving him in his gray v-neck shirt and jeans. He got in the bed. She immediately wrapped her arms around him. He didn't see it coming but he then wrapped His arms around her.

"Go to sleep.", Mario said to her. "I'll be here when you wake up."

"Promise?", she asked him like a scared child.

"I promise.", he said and kissed between her cheek and lips. She moved her head a little and she gave him a proper kiss.
