Her point of view.

I pierced my ears as Harry's screams filled the enclosed dinning room as he ran around the table helplessly being chased by his mother.

'Ah hah! Got you.' Anne sighed relieved grabbing little Harry in her grasp. He wriggled and squirmed but she held him tight.

'Go wash your hands now.' She said sternly then finished with a sloppy kiss on his forehead. He wiped his forehead disgusted and stomped his foot on the ground snouting and crossing his arms.

'Hmph. Fine.' He groaned and strutted off.

He was such a dramatic kid.

I caught Luke smirking to himself and had come to find he had a lip ring. I hadn't noticed it earlier seeing as it was only clear. He did suit it, I'll admit that.

I pull out my phone from my tight black jeans that was now buzzing.

Mum: Hey darling, so glad you're okay! Thank the person whoever found you. Praying ur safe, miss you like crazy. We're just back from ceremony, I wish u could've been here 2 attend it, I know Ethan would've liked his sister being there xx'

I read the text carefully then shoved it back into my pocket realising how rude I must've been. Ashton smiled at me assuringly as if to say 'it's fine.'

I sat at the end if the table awkwardly with Lauren on one side and Ashton on the other, Luke sat at the other end of the table.

Lauren had her face stuck in a book and she shifted every now and then and sniffled. I could tell she had a tough personality or was just hard to start a conversation with. But I tried my best.

'Your dress is beautiful.' I say touching her shoulder softly getting her attention from her book. She looked up and her mouth twitched into a sad smile.

'Not as beautiful as you.' She whispers. My heart warmed at her easily spoke compliment. She was such a beautiful girl as well. Her floral blue purple and green dress puffed out to just above her knees, the waist held tight with a cute stripy pattern and a loose bow. It looked amazing on her.

'Just take the god damn compliment Lauren.' Ashton mutters to his sister.

'So Grace Isobell Forward, tell us more about you. Seems all we know is your name and that you're better at mario kart than Ashton.' Anne says smiling at me.

Luke's attention was now on me and I felt weird.

'Um, well. I go to Ashton and Luke's school and I'm in the year under then. I like writing, I love writing actually. I'm hoping to get a 1 OP and get into college and achieve great things such as a job as a wedding planner or a scientific geologist. I've got the highest marks in the grade so most of my pinical classes are the same as Luke and Ashton's.' I say before eating the warm peas and roasted meat covered in to die for delicious gravy sauce on my plate quickly.

Everyone just kind of looked at me awed.

'Woah Grace, you must work your ass off-'

'Ahem!' Anne coughed loud cutting Ashton off from 'bad' language.

'That sounds amazing Grace, I know you will go great with your OP score.' She smiles sweetly.

Luke just stares at me for an long unexpected period of time and it was unusual but slightly comforting somehow.

After scrapping off as much as I could from the plate for a last mouthful, I took my plate to the sink and voluntary take everyone else's with struggle.

Just as one is about to slip from my grasp, my face grimaced waiting for the massive 'crashing' sound. Yet nothing came.

I looked up shocked to see Luke flipping the plate in between his hands playfully.

'C'mon.' He shoves me into the kitchen.

It had been maybe 10 minutes into washing the dishes and awkward tall skinny legged blonde lip ringed Luke beside me washing the dishes.

'So I say this with all respect, why did you um.' Luke pauses struggling to find the right word.

'Have a humungous rage in the middle of the road?'

'Yeah.' He says quietly. 'And why were you in Dalesford,' he said which I discovered was the name of the town dessert farm place. 'I mean it's like 20 minutes out of the city. Out of anywhere you could be today, why here?'

'Um. It's kind of hard to explain, a-and you mightn't believe m-me.' My voice shakes. He touches my shoulder.

'Hey it's ok you don't have to tell me all now, all in due time.' He comments.

'Well I'll tell you this, I came here because I was visiting something I hadn't been to for a long time and I guess seeing it again made me very emotional and I just kinda broke down?' I say.

'You might think I'm crazy.'

'Maybe.' He smirks.

'But then that would make me too, crazy.'

I replay his words in my head confused. Luke was so mysterious and quiet. I didn't understand how Ashton and him were so close seeing as Ashton was as loud as anything.

Luke just smirks and walks back into the lounge room leaving clueless me alone.

After another half an hour I finally decided to leave, seeing as it was close to midnight and I had school tomorrow. I said goodbye to quiet Lauren and loud Harry as he hugged my legs. Ashton offered to drive me home so Anne could look after the kids.

Luke had decided to stay at Ashton's for the night and crash on their couch but fortunately sat in the back car seat as I sat in the front next to Ashton in his red jeep seeing as Luke didn't want to be at home with wild Harry on the loose when he was tired.

'Thanks for everything today.' I say as Ashton's stops outside of my small house just on the border of the city.

'Don't even worry.' He says smiling his cheesy smile.

'I guess I might see you guys at school then Ashton and Luke?' I ponder.

'I guess you would.' Luke says as he slides through the middle of the two front seats and flops in to the front seat next to Ashton stealing the spot I once sat in.

He doesn't look in my direction once as they drive off music blasting through the speakers, whereas Ashton waves helplessly.

'Bye Gracee!'
