seventeen, last chapter

2 hours later.

2 hours of painfully waiting, watching TV but not paying any attention to it.. we finally had a phone call.

"Okay thank you, were on our way now" Ethan said and hung up

I looked at Ethan.

"He's awake May" Ethan smiled

I jumped on Ethan for a hug.

"Thank God" I said

"Right, let's go then" Ethan smiled

We drove to the hospital, asked what room he was in and made our way there asap!

We knocked once before entering once, then finally I walked him seeing him all pale and tired looking.

"Grayson" I sat next to him tearing up

He grabbed my hand and squeezed it tightly.

Ethan sat the other side of him bed

"Why are you here" Grayson looked at me

"What do you mean why am I here? Because you're in hospital and I needed to see you" I said confused

"You shouldn't see me like this" he said

"I saw you passed out Gray, how do you think you got here?" I said

He looked over at Ethan..

"It's true, she had me running through the mall looking for you" Ethan nodded

Grayson looked back over at me, and smiled softly

"I'm so sorry" he said
"I don't know what I was doing, please forgive me" he held my hand

"Don't be stupid, I'm not mad at you. I was just terrified that I might have lost you" a tear fell from my eye

"I would never leave you, you know that right?" He said

I smiled and nodded.

"Can I ask you something?" Ethan asked

"Yeah, sure" Grayson said

"Why, did you do it?" E asked

"I fucked up big time, and I thought I'd lost May. I knew I couldn't live with myself without her, so I chose not to live" he shrugged

I started crying.

"Grayson, you're such an idiot. I was just panicking, I didn't know what to do so I chose to leave and calm myself down. I was not leaving you, I never will" I said

Grayson pulled my arm a little telling me to hug him, so I layed down next to him and snuggled into his chest.

"You promise you've never thought about overdosing before?" Ethan said

"I promise. And I'm sorry, it was selfish. Leaving you on your own, just because of some stupid guy asking for a fight" Grayson sighed

"Hey, it's all good. As long as you're okay" Ethan smiled

"Thank you bro" Grayson smiled

They did their little handshake thingy, and we're all good.

"How long until you can get outta here?" Ethan asked him

"I'm not sure, I don't think I have to be here until tomorrow.. can you get a nurse for me please?" Gray asked

"Yeah sure, be right back" Ethan left

"I'm sorry May, for scaring you like that. I promised not to fight again, and I understand that I broke that promise and might have damaged our relationship.. but I just don't want to lose you" he looked down at me

"I don't care about that anymore, I know how you can get overwhelmed with anger sometimes. All I care about is you leaving this place so you can go home again" I smiled

"I love you, and I never want to lose you" he kissed my forehead

"I love you more Gray" I smiled

Ethan came back in, with a nurse.

"Is there anything you need Grayson?" She asked

"I was just wondering how long until I can leave? One of the other nurses said when I woke up, that as soon as I'm fully awake I can leave" he said

"Oh okay, I'll go check with someone now" she smiled

"Thank you" Grayson smiled

She left and came back a few minutes later.

"I'll just take this off your arm, and give this to you and you can go" she smiled

She took his pulse tracker off his arm, and gave him his jacket.

"You're free to go" she smiled

"Thank you so much" Grayson smiled getting up

"You're welcome, enjoy the rest of your day" she smiled

"Thank you, bye" he smiled and we left

We went back to the car.

"Do you wanna go get some food? Because I do" Ethan smiled

"Yeah" I smiled
"Gray?" I asked

"Um yeah please" he smiled

We went through taco Bell drive through and went back to their house.

"I'll be back now, just going to the bathroom" Ethan smiled

"Okay" I smiled

Me and Grayson went to the kitchen to grab a drink.

"Your stuff is still at mine" I said getting him and me a glass of water

"I'll get that later when you go to get your stuff, I want you to stay here with me tonight" he smiled

"Really?"

He smiled.

"Of course I will" I smiled

"Good because I wasn't gonna take no for an answer" he smiled

I smiled.

"I don't want to leave you again" he said
"Not for a while anyway" he smiled

"Good, because I want to stay with you and make sure you're okay" I smiled

"I'm fine now, honestly" he smiled

"You can never be too safe" I nodded

He smiled, and walked up to me

"I like you alot" he smiled

"I like you too" I laughed

"I think I might have a protection obsession" he smiled

"Only for you tho" he put his arms around my waist

"That's fine by me, aslong as you promise this time, not to fight anyone anymore. Well, not as extreme as today anyway.." I smiled

"I promise" he smiled

"You can fight, but only if you don't get hurt" I smiled

He laughed.

"I love you baby" he smiled

"I love you too" I smiled

He kissed me.

Now I'm gonna go think of new ones to write after I finish 'paper slip'
