It was unreal.

It was different.

Bronwyn was awake, walking,

and more importantly,

taking care of Nate.

No one has heard him speak one word in weeks.

So,

there we were,

Summer,

Addy,

and I watching.

Bronwyn ran into Nate's arms.

He held her tight and sobbed.

"I'm so sorry, Nate. I heard everything. And I know we can win this, okay?" She said, in his embrace.

Just as the three of us were about to leave,

three policemen and Officer Budapest showed up.

Figures.

They looked at me.

Great.

"Cooper Clay," Officer Budapest began. "You're a suspect again. Shocker."

I felt my blood boil.

I'd never felt this kind of anger.

Officer Budapest always seemed to hate me.

And I had no idea why.

Bronwyn and Nate turned around towards me.

Addy was terrified.

Summer just stood there, thinking.

I don't know how much longer I can hold it in.

Officer 1 laughed.

"What did he do this time?" Asks Officer 2.

"Burned down Miss Scott here's club." Officer Budapest answers, laughing.

The other two policemen laughed.

"I wouldn't be surprised he did this. I mean, he did get attacked by social media and the internet because he's gay." Officer 1 comments.

Are you kidding me?

I clenched my fists.

"What's his boyfriend's name again?" Officer 3 asks. "Kris, is it?"

And then,

it happened.

with a swift move, I punched officer 3.

He fell to the ground with a bloody nose.

Punch by punch,

I was bleeding.

Officer Budapest tried to knock me out,

but I was too fast.

I heard everyone screaming at me to stop.

But I couldn't.

I quickly punched and punched until I knocked all four officers out,

including officer Budapest.

"COOPER! WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING?" Addy yells.

I wiped the blood off my fists.

Then I dusted off my shirt.

I began to cough and cough,

until I saw blood.

Then I fell to the ground.

The four of them ran over to me.

Summer's guards pulled me up.

"What has gotten into you, Cooper?" Bronwyn asks.

I pant and wipe the blood away from my face, not looking at anyone but the ground.

Then I ran.

I pushed them aside and ran.

The truth was,

that had been erupting in me for so long.

Like a volcano.

And now, it exploded.

I'd knocked down four policemen.

I didn't even think I was capable of doing that.

But I did.

And I no where to run.

I couldn't go to Addy.

I couldn't go to Summer.

I couldn't go to Nate.

I couldn't go to Bronwyn.

I couldn't go to Kris.

Where do I go from here?

Then I remembered.

I knew where to go.

I was on the run now.

Even though I didn't commit a crime,

or at least I think I didn't,

I was on the run from myself.

From others.

Pop never understood me,

he just understood my good arm.

Lucas used to love me,

now he doesn't.

Nonny,

she still loves me.

But I can't.

I can't run to her.

So I ran to the only place I could.

Sure,

I might not be safe,

but I won't be here.

And that's all that matters.

I ran and ran until I couldn't run anymore.

Then I found the place.

I knocked on the door and she opened up.

"Cooper?!"  She exclaims.

"Keely."

"Come in, now." She answered, pulling me inside.

She sat me down in her tiny kitchen in her apartment.

She took a wet cloth and washed my face.

"What the hell happened to you, Cooper?"

I couldn't talk.

All I could do was cough.

More and more blood.

"It's-it's a long story. I need your help, please." I pleaded.

"Of course, Cooper. Now please tell me what happened."

"I'm a suspect again,"  I began. "Because I burned down Summer Scott's club."
