Time was ticking.

Faster than any cheetah could run.

And it was freaking me out.

I went back to Pop's right near Bayview for the reunion tonight.

Kris came with me, he was really worried.

And I was too.

But I was praying that Bronwyn's plan would work.

But then again, the Diamond Stars is a Scott club.

The Scotts are one of the richest families in North America.

And I'm sure there will be guards all over the place.

I was getting ready to head to the reunion.

No baseball cap this time.

Kris insisted on driving me.

As we pulled into the lot, I could hear the music booming from outside.

Maybe it really was crowded after all.

Kris turned to me.

"Cooper, I need you to promise me you'll be safe."

"I will, Kris. Don't worry. I promise."

He leaned over and kissed me.

I got out of the car.

Now was the moment.

I walked inside.

I'd never been here before.

This was THE club.

It was dark, lights were flashing.

There was a DJ playing music so loud my ears hurt.

And I took a deep breath.

It was crowded.

That was the biggest relief.

I walked over to the bar and ordered a vodka.

I sat down and sighed.

Where was everyone?

I waited, watching the people partying.

And they were really partying.

And they were having the time of their lives.

I sighed again.

I heard a voice from behind me.

"Oh my god?! Is that Cooper Clay from the Bayview Four? I need a selfie!"

The girl talked in a fake voice.

I turned around.

Bronwyn.

"Bronwyn, hey! it's been too long."

I got up and hugged her.

"It really has." She scanned the room. "It's packed. Huge relief."

"yeah."

Bronwyn looked different.

Her straight jet black hair wasn't in a ponytail, it wad down.

She wasn't wearing her glasses.

My guess contact lenses.

She wore a lot of eye makeup.

She normally never wore makeup, but it looked amazing on her.

She was wearing almost nothing.

This was a completely different version of Bronwyn.

she was wearing a little black crop top with a straight neckline,

and a short gold skirt with black heels.

She looked amazing.

She seemed so different.

"Where's Nate?" I asked.

"He's on the way, he got held up at the hotel." She continued to scan the room.

"I've never been to a club. Not much of a party girl." She adds.

I laugh.

"Well you look great, by the way."

"Thanks! You still with Kris?" She asks.

"Yep."

Nate finds his way over to us.

"Woah, Bronwyn, you look-"

She interrupts him and kisses him.

Great.

Well this is fun.

Nothing weird about this at all.

"Hey, Nate! I haven't seen you in like, three years, bro! How's it going?" I ask sarcastically.

He pulls away from Bronwyn.

"Who are you, Cooper?" He answers, laughing.

"Have either of you seen Addy yet?" I ask.

They both shook their head.

"Looking for me?" A voice says.

We all turn to her and our jaws drop.

She looks-

so different.

She was wearing a short, royal blue two piece dress.

"Addy, you look so-" Bronwyn begins.

"The same?" She asks, walking over to us.

"And you- went back to blonde." Nate commented.

And she did.

Her hair was the same as it was back in high school before the Simon thing happened.

She straightened it.

"Yep. Decided, why not, right?" She walks over to the bar and sits down.

"Now tell me, Bronwyn, what happened to you?" She asked.

"What do you mean?" She asked, sipping her drink.

"Oh, I don't know, you're wearing, like, nothing, your hair is down, you're wearing makeup..."

"Well," She began, walking over to the seat next to Addy. "Decided, why not, right?"

Addy laughs.

Nate and I just watch.

I'm sure Nate is loving this change in Bronwyn.

All he did was stare at her.

All we did was party and have fun.

Aside from the fact we all forgot the police are outside waiting to see if anything happens.

And we aren't at a high school reunion, that's for sure.

We were definetly being tricked.

But why who?
