When you look in the mirror,

who do you see?

I'll tell you what I see.

a fugitive,

a prison-breaker.

What did I no longer see?

An Athlete.

A star.

I used to be someone special.

I used to be the popular kid.

I was the typical high school jock.

Look where I am now.

Hiding in Summer Scott's attic.

For days.

However,

it's not what you expect it to be.

It's fancy.

Warm.

Nice.

The glass walls were draped with silk and gold.

The giant king bed was soft and smooth.

The modern tv sat on the wall,

perfectly straight.

I'd come to think maybe I was supposed to be like this room.

Like this tv.

But I wasn't.

The second Simon revealed my big secret,

I was a fallen tv.

Broken.

I had my own sleek glass bathroom and maids.

One entered quickly and in a hurry.

"Mr. Clay?" She asks.

I turn around.

"Cooper, please." I respond.

"Right, sorry, Cooper," She begins. "There's someone who wants to see you."

"who?" I ask.

She looks at me and then the ground.

She soon turns around and walks to the door.

Then she opens it to reveal someone I didn't expect.

I get up.

"Mr. Scott." I say in surprise.

He was exactly the person I didn't want to see right now.

Truthfully,

he scares me a little bit.

"Cooper Clay."

"What can I do for you?" I ask.

He circles around me,

his icy blue eyes pierced into mine like ice,

his slick gelled hair was perfect.

His suit was the most expensive I've ever seen.

He gave me a mixed emotions look.

"Must I say, I was quite surprised you took such an interest in my daughter, even with your unfortunate time in prison."

I sigh deeply and cross my arms.

"I'm gay, Mr. Scott. I have a boyfriend. Who's probably looking for me, by the way." I answer, getting up.

He grabs my arm and pulls me towards him.

"Not so fast." He whispers in my ear. "I need a favor."
