After Lindsey practically had forced Adrianna to drink a glass of water and acted all overly protective mum, Adrianna stayed in her room for the rest of the day with her door closed. She was so confused and tried to put all the pieces together from today's happening. One thing that she was sure of, was that she had seen something in the water and the second thing she was sure of, was that Lindsey had been acting weird. And of course she hadn't had a sun stroke so that was three things. She started to think things trough carefully. It felt like she now could think clearer when she sat on her bed. The dark creatures had looked like some kind of eels, but she wasn't sure because they looked much bigger than normal eels. Eels or not she had sensed something evil about them. When one of them had looked at her it was like she had gotten an electrical shock. Even though it had looked like Lindsey had talked to them Adrianna still doubted that. Maybe Lindsey had just sat on the bridge talking to herself and then when Adrianna had came out from the forest the eels had just gone to surface by coincidence. But mum doesn't talk to herself a little voice in her head said. She tried to not think about it. Well anyway her mum had acted strange. Lindsey was an over protective mum but it had seemed so fake in the kitchen. Adrianna had a wild imagination so she made up all kinds of different crazy theories. Then she just decided to drop it.

"Adrianna! Dinner's ready!" Lindsey shouted. Oh no. Adrianna really did not want to eat dinner with her mum right now. "Yeah.. Coming!" Adrianna shouted back as she got up from her bed.

At dinner Lindsey was being her normal bubbly self and talking about normal stuff. After dinner Adrianna went straight to bed even though it was only 7 p.m. She was desperate for a swim in the lake to calm her down but she didn't want her mum there watching over her like a hawk. She set her alarm for 1 a.m and as soon as she closed her eyes, she fell asleep.

When the alarm rang Adrianna shut if off as quick as she could so Lindsey wouldn't wake up. She was really nervous because she had never done this before. She put on her white and pink polka-dot bikini and sneaked slowly out of her room, past Lindsey's room, trough the living room, then finally opened the front door and closed it as careful as she could. She sighed and walked down to the lake.

The moon was full and shining big and bright on the night sky. There were millions of stars and the whole sight was just breathtaking. Adrianna didn't jump off the bridge because that would make too much sound so she walked in the water from the very small beach they had. The moon was reflected in the water and it looked magical.  She immediately felt so much better when touching the water with her feet. She took a few swim strokes before she dived. The clear water in the lake and the fish made her feel like home. I belong here.

That was the first time Adrianna admitted to herself that she belonged under the sea. She didn't understand how that could be possible, she just knew in her heart.
